CREATIVE SCRAPPERS OCTOBER SKETCH..

Gidday! How has  your day been?  I have been baby sitting my nephews two little boys on a wednesday, so my day has been busy!!

I saw this fabulous sketch over at CREATIVE SCRAPPERS which uses 4 photos so I thought I would give it a go.. however I have missed the link up but I may as well share it with you anyways!!
The sketch..
And my layout..

some closer views.
I have used some die cuts and some really old stickers in my clusters...
Lots of punched edges too.. more stickers in my cluster..

It was a good day..

I have used some really old papers on this and old stickers but I think it looks pretty ok!!! I just cant keep up with the days sometimes so if you know how to slow this crazy pace down then you have my permission to do so!!!

Thanks for dropping by, I know how busy we all are.. thanks so much for any comments too..  Take care...

  2. Hello Lizzy!! I know what you mean about time getting away from you .. would be really nice if someone could work out how to slow it down!! Love, love, love this page. Your darling daughter is just gorgeous and this page suits those lovely photos beautifully!! .. and it's always nice to use up some of those old papers and things we have lying around. Just cause it's old doesn't mean its obsolete .. now where have I heard that before??? Enjoy the rest of your week Lizzy .. hope it slows down a bit for both of us!! hugs xx

  5. Nice saying! I really really think this is super adorable & I reckon older stuff works just as well as the 'new' bits, long as we scrap how we scrap, if that makes sense? I must say that little birdy peeking up at the photos is my favest bit....sooooo cuuuuute!

  7. Oh what a shame you missed the deadline. Really sucks when that happens. Life is so busy at the moment and seems to be going at a rate of knots. Such a pretty layout and that daughter of yours is so pretty. Love the hot pink and the bird embellie is fabulous. I always love seeing your layouts.
