WHITE WITH ONE CHALLENGES...

Hello there!
I hope your day is going great!! I must say the weather here has been spectacular, however the weather people are saying a cool snap is coming this weekend! humm.. maybe time for a pot of soup!!

Well I have been keeping busy this week with the challenges over at WHITE WITH ONE CHALLENGES as they have had a cyber crop this week... and then I created a layout for this months challenge as well... so fasten your seatbelt as I share all 4 of them !!!!

 CHALLENGE ONE
to use your favourite color
a photo
at least 3 flowers
washi tape
4 patterned papers..
Well my fav color is navy blue so that is what I have used as my one color..

The washi tape is the butterfly tape and a view of the patterned papers..

I made some flowers and cut some die cuts..

Blessed

I love this photo too of my first Mothers day as a Grammie!! So that is challenge one..

CHALLENGE TWO

The next challenge is to use a grid design with multiple photos, to add journalling or stamping on your layout.. and to use blue and white.. and as an option to use your layout as a starting point for a card.. As I just used navy for my first  layout I went with a light blue..

I chose to use stamping on my layout.. I stamped around the border of my page as well as different swirls and flowers and the heart..

CHALLENGE THREE

This was a step by step challenge.. This was a fun way to create a layout!

That was a great challenge! and a lovely result!

and I thought I may as well do the MONTHLY COLOR CHALLENGE !

and the color is Lime Chaser!!

Lots of die cuts! and i found some ribbon in my stash that was a great match!!

I made some flowers for my layout as I didnt really have any flowers for this color..

APRIL TEXTURE PASTE CHALLENGE - Papercraft Secrets.

Hello there!
Yes it is me again!!  I could get used to this staying at home gig, and getting more creative time!!

I was looking around for a challenge to get my motivation going and I came across a Texture Paste Challenge over at PAPERCRAFT SECRETS on facebook and there was even a sketch to follow so I had a go at this one..

This is the sketch I chose..

 How cool is that??

I used black cardstock as my base as it really lets the texture paste have more definition...
and this is my base before I started embellishing..

Lots of stencilling...

I added some die cuts, fussy cut flowers and paper strips.

Beautiful..

And I thought these photos went well with the black and white colors on my page too..

SCRAP THE GIRLS - April challenge..

Hello there,
How has your week been? They seem to go by, even with staying at home.. There is lots to do at home, it is just the energy to do it is my problem!!!! hehe!
I am just popping up a layout I created for this months SCRAP THE GIRLS Challenge .

  No I am not the adventurer, but my DD has been! Last year she flew to Italy for her friends wedding... and she took her Daughter with her and I just thought I would use one of her photos for my layout..  She took some amazing photos but this one was the one I went with..

I found all sorts of travel themed embellishments to pop on my layout..

and my layout..

What an amazing photo, with all the buildings in the back ground.. my thoughts go out to Italy and its people in this very sad and difficult time..  but back then, everything was ok..

BLIND CHALLENGE - by AmG Studio.

Hello there!
Here i am again! This staying home has allowed me more time for creating and when I was looking around for something to do I came across a Blind Scrap challenge run by Annette at AmG studio on Facebook and so I printed out the instructions and away I went.. You can pop over and see the challenge on the link above...  I think I followed it ok...

anyway.. here are some closer views.

I did a bit of stamping on the back ground and this is a corner banner that I decorated..

I have used the new Kaisercraft papers and did some fussy cutting and popped on some glitter glue as well as cutting some die cut leaves and flowers.

Moments..

I like the end result.. the banner pieces were just scraps and I layered the fussy cut butterflies with foam tape for some dimension..

SCRAPMATTS CREATING For April..

Gidday ! How are you? How has your day been? I hope you have been finding lots to keep you busy as we spend our days at home..
I have been outside for some time today as well as the washing. The weather is just so lovely too..
I am glad for this time to be at home.. and I pray things will be on the way to being much better for us all really soon...

WHATS IN THE BICKIE TIN - April,

Hello there,
A Blessed Easter to you and yours.. A very quiet one here.. Watched Church online and then I am not sure what else I have done.. perhaps spent way too much time gazing at Facebook! So I thought I would share a layout for the April Challenge over at WHATS IN THE BICKIE TIN.

And it is..
To use the color Yellow,
Add some Misting
and do some embossing..

I found a lovely photo and I thought I would use some chipboard from Celebr8 that I got last year at a Craft Show I went to..

I embossed this flower chipboard in a Color Blast embossing powder "Sunshine". I also used Mist with a stencil as well as flicking splats onto my page..

And I left this chipboard raw..

123 CHALLENGE BLOG - April Challenge..

Hello there,
I trust you are well and keeping busy enough as we all stay home as much as possible..
I have been able to keep busy and the days seem to go by quickly..

The April challenge for the 123 CHALLENGE BLOG on Facebook is another fabulous one..
You have to be inspired by the 1 sketch, use the 2 words and use the 3 colors as the main colors..

  I know sometimes we may not have the colors perfectly right and at this stage we cannot really go out and buy a paper at the shops, so just do the best you can..

APRIL KRAFT+ Challenge..

Hello there!
How are you going? or staying perhaps!!!hehe! Surprisingly I keep busy during the day... but dont ask me what I do!! hehe..
The first of April is here..  I pray it is a better month than March.. and I do pray this virus is stopped and there are no more infections..

The challenge over at KRAFT+ FACEBOOK COMMUNITY is a fabulous one again this month.. and it is..



Inspired by fashion.. or this graphic.. and remember it has to be on a Kraft base..

I was inspired by the colors, by beauty and  also by Audrey Hepburn.. one of the worlds most beautiful women in my opinion.. so I found a photo of my stunningly beautiful girls and created my layout..

I have used some really old prima flowers, a chipboard mannequin and was inspired to use the colors pink and black on my page..
