August Scrapmatts Creating.

Hello there, I do hope you are keeping well..  Some places are in lock down and some places have some restrictions easing a bit... wherever you are, I hope you are keeping well..

I have to pop up the creating I did for my Scrapmatts Design Team work for this month.. I have been getting out in my garden so my blog has had to wait!! and I am going to be lazy and copy my blog post from Scrapmatts to here for you to see!!

I have a layout that I created using a photo of two of my Daughters. I was wanting a soft pretty page to show off this precious photo.

I began by adding some soft details with a stencil and a white ink pad by simply dabbing the ink pad on the stencil and the color comes through the other side..

I did some fussy cutting and layered my photo and framed the photo with a Floral Frame..

I popped some little roses on the frame that was colored with the white ink pad that I used for the stencilling..

I also popped a sweet little flower on the page border which I think is so elegant and looked so pretty going down the side of my layout..

and my layout..

Cherish Moments.

A row of lace at the bottom of my photo finished off my page beautifully.. This photo was taken on my eldest daughters Wedding Day last year... I hope it has given you some inspiration for your Scrapmatts creating.

And here is a list of the Scrapmatts products I have used on my layout.

ST9027 Damask Stencil

CB6013 Floral Frame 02

August Challenge for Cocoa Vanilla

Hello there! how are things? I do hope you are all doing as well as can be.

I have surprised myself by getting a layout done for this months challenge over at COCOA VANILLA which is to be inspired by this fabulous mood board..

I was inspired by the quote... Life is a blank canvas, and you need to throw all the paint on it you can..

I found this fun photo of my Grandie and just had to use it.. All the papers and embellishments are Cocoa Vanilla.. It was a lot of fun to create!!

some closer views.

I have created layers and I lifted up some embellishments with foam squares.. I did a little bit of stamping on the back ground page for some added interest..

I fussy cut some floral elements from the papers..

I love how different ranges go so well together, and I have used colors to match my photo..

Happy..

I am happy with how this turned out.. such a fun moment to scrap!! I will pop my layout up on the

COCOA VANILLA FACEBOOK COMMUNITY PAGE

Thankyou for your visit.. and thanks to those who leave a little comment.. I appreciate each one..

I hope your day is going well.. take care.. until next time..
