Just some creating!

 Hello there! I hope this finds you well. The weather has been superb here of late, and the evenings have been a tad cooler.. humm these autumn days!

I have been trying to keep creating, and I have surprised myself by creating a double layout.. I had two similar  photos of my Grandson and so I have used a photo on each page.. a simple design so I have only taken one photo of each page and then of the two pages together!

That was fun to create! no challenges just for fun!

And I have created two cards, just some fussy cutting from the papers, simple cards but good to just sit and create..

Soul Scrappers Challenges - Sketch and Tic Tac Toe

 Hello there, I hope you are having a good day whatever you are up to.. The sun is out here and the floods are now a memory, but for others they are still going through it.. My thoughts are with you.. it has been very difficult.. 

My therapy is scrapping so I have created two layouts for the challenges over at SOUL SCRAPPERS CHALLENGES on Facebook.. The first layout is for the sketch which looks like..

I fussy cut the flowers out of the papers and layered them and then added some dimensional pearls for some interest..

Such a special moment of my Daughter and my Grand daughter...

The second layout I have created is for the Tic Tac Toe.. which is..

I have used stamping, 3x4 photo and three word title..

and a couple of closer views..

You can see the stamping on the back ground.. I did add some gesso to calm the back ground as when my layout was finished it looked too busy for me... needed some white space to unclutter it...

Love this day.

The photo almost gets lost on this layout but then I think about it and life is busy and this special moment has been captured in the midst of it.. This photo is taken of my Daughter and her Partner after he proposed.. and yes... she said YES!! so the title fits so well.... Love this day!!

Well that is two pages I have created so far.. I hope to get in and do some more creating.. Hopefully I can get this mojo working again!! Use up some stash and fill some albums!!

Kraft+ March Challenge - Framed

 Hello March! February always seems like a short month!! Lets hope March is a better month for us all..

And onto the new challenge for KRAFT+  which I am sure will be one you may enjoy as I did.. and it is..

To be inspired by frames..  on a base of Kraft of course.. and my take on this months challenge..

I had an older range of Kaisercraft papers and one page had a lot of frames so I have cut them our and layered them with some fussy cut flowers and die cuts..

Soul Scrappers Challenges for February

 Hello there..I hope you are doing ok.. I have been meaning to put up these challenges for a while.. I had planned to get them up early today, but we have had flooding rains and I have been distracted by checking the creek behind me and my neighbour.. sadly my neighbours have damage to fences.. The creek up came so quickly, and now as I watch the social media the floods are going downstream and causing a lot of distress.. So I will get this post done and go and check how things are.. a very stressful day indeed..

The first layout is for the Tic Tac Toe challenge..

I have used the row Stencil back ground, B & W photo and one word title..

I have one closer view of my page..

This shows the stencilling on the back ground and a closer view of the flower cluster..

Scrap The Boys Challenge February

 Hello there! Yes I am back to share with you a layout I created for this months challenge over at SCRAP THE BOYS CHALLENGE . which is.....

It has been so hot here and we have also had some lovely rain so I have not been out in my garden as much which means I did some creating.. I have a new Grandson and so I have used a photo of my Dear little Lorenzo on my layout.. I used orange tones to go with the colors in my photo.. This photo was taken a day after his birth by a photographer.

Kraft+ - February challenge..

 Hello there and welcome to February! January flew by and now we turn the calendar over to the second month of the year.. and that brings the new Scrappy Challenges that are meant to inspire our creativity.. I really hope I can do more creating, I have been so slack!! but anyhoooo.. 

This months challenge over at Kraft+ for February is very fruity and colorful!!! and it is...

 

I think it is also very summery!! I was inspired by the quote and the pineapple!! I found some old papers from Kaisercraft and began creating!! On a base of Kraft of course!

January Kraft+ Challenge

 Happy New Year!  Welcome to 2022... and there is only one way to take it.. one day at a time...  I hope it is off to a great start for you.. 

I am putting up the new January Kraft+ Challenge which is a fabulous one to start this year.. and it is..

 

And it is 'Dreaming of travel'.. perhaps you have dreams of travel this year, or you are remembering the times you have traveled..  I chose a photo of my daughter and my Grand daughter when they were in Italy and used that for my travel inspiration..  I have used travel embellishments and of course it has to be on a base of Kraft for this challenge..

Scrapmatts Creating for December

 Hello there! I am just popping up my Design Team creating for Scrapmatts for this month.. I am running a little behind as these went up on the Scrapmatts Blog on the 15th... but hey, it is the silly season! I hope things are going well for you and you are looking forward to some special family time over the next week or so..

 I created two layouts this month using some lovely Scrapmatts products.. I will just show some closer views and then the layout..

 

The flourish and the hearts were painted with water color paints.. I left the frame and words natural.

 

Some of the paint flicked off the chipboard but I didn't mind the aged look..

 

One of my favourite stencils is this Hanging Hearts Stencil.. 

 

I seem to have a thing for circle photos at the moment!! It cuts out the background and centres on the people in the photo..

The second layout is a Christmassy one using an older photo of my daughter..

I made some flowers using chipboard flowers and die cut flowers, and layered the pieces together..

I did some stencilling on the back ground just using gold paint.. 

Again I just used water colors to add color to the chipboard..
