Soul Scrappers Sketch Challenge and One Word Challenge

 Hello there,

How are things with you? All well I hope.. I am just popping in to share two layouts that I have created this month for the challenges over at Soul Scrappers Challenges on Facebook  and the first one I am sharing is for the Sketch Challenge which looks like......

I had some photos of my Grand daughter and Book Week this year so I thought I would scrap them for this layout..

a couple of closer views.

I left the photos in color so I had to find some papers and ric rak that worked with those colors..

Book Week

Such a pretty Rainbow Fish!! I have stuck to the sketch pretty closely..

The other layout I would like to share is for the One Word challenge which is to use the letter H, J or P.

I have gone with the letter H for Hannah my Daughter..

a couple of closer views..

I have used an older photo.. I have used Mintay papers. which I have fussy cut some elements and layered them up with old cardboard.

Thank you Soul Scrappers for inspiring me to create these two layouts..  Thanks so much for coming by today.. Take care... until next time...

Kraft+ November Challenge - Song Lyrics

Hello there, and hello to November...It surely is the down hill slide now to Christmas and the end of this year.. I look back on this year with some sadness, I hope your year has been a better one for you..

This month brings new crafty challenges and I would like to share the new one for Kraft+ and it is another good one...

To be inspired by Song Lyrics.. which leaves it open to soo many possibilities.. On a base of Kraft of course..

I guess the way I started was to look at my photos and see if I could find a starting point with a photo, and sure enough I did. I came across a photo of my Grandson who still has the most beautiful blue eyes.. humm .. now a song.. I found the song from Elton John "Baby's got blue eyes.."  As the song goes.."like a deep blue sea on a blue blue day.."

Blue Eyes - Elton John

a couple of closer views..

I used blue papers and stencilled some music notes on the back ground to go with the theme of music lyrics..

my layout..

This picture does not do justice to the blueness of his eyes... My Dads eyes were blue, I have blue eyes so I am hoping my Grandson keeps his blue eyes too..   You can pop over to the KRAFT+ Blog here and check out what the Design Team has come up with and then go over to the Kraft+ Facebook Community page here to pop your creation up for all to see.

thanks for coming on by today, I hope your day is going well..  until next time..
