KAISERCRAFT CHALLENGE CORNER #2

I am just popping up my layout for the KAISERCRAFT CHALLENGE CORNER #2 which is a fabulous sketch which looks like..

I have used the lovely papers from the Blessed collection for my layout..

Some fussy cutting, some orange dots with Liquid Pearls.

I just love these cute photos of my Grandie, she was such a smiler, very cheeky!!

ANNA'S CRAFT CUPBOARD MAY SKETCH.

Hello there,
Thanks for coming on by..
Well another week has flown by, and I thought I would sit and scrap last night and get a page done no matter how long it took me!! hee he!!I thought I would do the sketch from ANNAS CRAFT CUPBOARD ON facebook which looks like...

Isn't that so pretty and lots of room for interpretation.. so my layout..

a couple of closer views..

lots of layers.. and a touch of stencilling peeking out!

and lots of fussy cutting... and a bit of glitter glue to add a bit of sparkle to the centre of the flowers..

Love life.

I love this older photo of my Daughter and I think the blue back ground was inspired by the color of her shirt.. I have used papers from Simple Stories Botanical which is new to my stash. The blue back ground paper is old though, an old Kaisercraft baby boy range..

WHITE WITH ONE NSD Challenges..

Hello there,
yes dont be shocked, here I am again with some more layouts.. I have been ignoring the housework... which is allways there, and doing some scrapping... and it has been good for my soul!!!
I thought I would try and see if I could get some layouts done for the NSD over at WHITE WITH ONE on Facebook and I have surprised myself by getting 3 layouts done!! So I would like to share them on my blog.

The first one is..
TO USE A STENCIL IN SOME WAY ON YOUR LAYOUT..

and I have used two stencils on my layout.. 
and a little closer view..

Happiness.

The second challenge is TO USE SHAPES AS PART OF YOUR BACK GROUND.

I choose to use the shape of puzzle pieces..
a closer view.

I love this photo of my Grandie and I.. and navy blue is one of my fav colors too!!

The third challenge is TO FEATURE FLOWERS AND USE THE WORD LOVE IN SOME WAY.

Did some one say flowers??? hehe.. my favourite thing to use..

ANNAS CRAFT CUPBOARD CHALLENGES..

Hello there,
How are you on this lovely day. The days are simply glorious here, and the mornings are beginning to get a bit crisp.. a bit harder to get out of bed!!
Last week Anna's Craft Cupboard had their Cyber Crop #13 and while I did not get all the challenges done, I did try and get a few done, and I would just like to share them on my blog.

Challenge #7 was a Tic Tac Toe.

And I chose the top row... Chipboard, Flowers and Border Punch..

My layout..

I have used some old Kaisercraft chipboard doileys and bird cage, two types of border punches and of course.. flowers..

Challenge #4 was a sketch..

and my layout..

The photos are of my Grand daughter with her ice cream birthday cake which we were hoping she would smash, but she was quite dainty about it and didnt smash it at all.. hehe.. maybe next year!!

Challenge #3 was to use negative space on your layout..

and my layout..

And again I have used a photo from my Grand daughters first birthday..

Challenge #6 was to create a card..

I chose to use pink and blue on my card..

The bracket shape paper was up cycled from an old envelope that had been send to me..

Well there were lots more challenges, but I didn't get the time to create them.  I am a slowish scrapper, something I am trying to get better at!! hehe..

KRAFT+ - May Sketch Challenge..

A pinch and a punch for the 5th month!! wow.. May already!! How did that happen!!?
and so it is time for the new challenges to go up around Scrap Challenge Land!!
The new challenge for KRAFT+ May  is up, and it is a fabulous sketch and mood board..  I love sketches and this one is soooo cool and I hope you get to join in with your interpretation..

and it is..
 how cool is this!! I have used the sketch for a foundation for my page as well as colors from the board at the bottom of the sketch..

This photo was taken last year on Anzac Day.. Such a precious moment, so glad I have scrapped it..
