MORE THAN WORDS - Bliss and Gesso...

A very good day to you! I hope you are having a marvellous day!

I am putting up my take on the March challenge for MORE THAN WORDS which is another fabulous one and it is..
Use the word or be inspired by the word BLISS and use GESSO.

Well I have used lots of gesso, both white for my back ground foundation and black for background detailing..
 I have used the word BLISS on my layout as well as using a photo that just oozes bliss to me, a photo of my DD and husband fishing at sunset at the coast when we were on holidays one time... such a blissful moment..

My title covered in black gesso then dimensional magic and seed beads added..  it sort of looks like the foam you get in the sea at times...

This chipboard flourish is covered in white gesso then gold paint then stamped and beads added.. sort of looks like barnacles!!

This is bliss..
Stencilling using black gesso, stamping and plasterers tape.. Love that photo...I  didnt want to overwhelm the page but let the photo be the main focus..  sigh.. take me back there....Oh and we didnt catch our dinner, we went to the fish and chip shop afterwards!! hehe!

    A fabulous take on the challenge Lizzy and a totally gorgeous page!! I love the colour combo and all the yummy texture! Great photo .. stunning page!!     Winner in my eyes. Just perfect for their challenge & I love the way you channelled the sea with your seed beads and barnacles!!! Those colours work really nicely with the photo, too. And it's a splendid snap. Very special page. Bliss indeedy!!!

    Love the look of the black gesso. I bought some but have yet to try it out. Somehow the black brings out the atmosphere in the photo. Really pretty!! :-)
