family...

oh dear.. firstly thank you to all you dear friends who have hugged me with your comments on my last post.. i was having a sook, feeling a bit down, but your comments have returned my smile..(and polished my ego too haha!!) thank you... it all means a lot....

now down to the stuff i love to do!

while jumping around on blogs i came across this challenge...http://stuff2scrap.blogspot.com/2011/09/septembers-challenge-with-rachael.html and i knew i had a draw full of chippies, however no stuff2scrap brand, but the challenge said any chippies would be ok...add some butterflies and have some stitching... so with this lovely sketch printed out....

i set about and came up with this.. my gorgeous family... i used kaiser papers, old music sheets which  i scrunched and glued down and painted my chipboard pieces brown.

and a bit closer of the stitching and title..

thank you again...i appreciate you!!

  2. This is gorgeous Lizzy! Love the scalloped layered edge. Beautiful! Oh and pay no attention to the magazines they aren't nice. I have never had a layout accepted for publishing and don't even bother submitting these days. But if its what you really want, just keep trying, they're mad to not publish you! Hope you have a great week xoxo
