Share - bird is the word

the latest challenge word at.http://birdisthewordchallenge.blogspot.com/2011/09/sunday-september-11th-new-challenge.html is the word SHARE...after thinking for a while i decided to use a photo of my son, my hubby and my father in law and the journalling which i thought of reads... FATHERS AND SONS SHARE more than their last name. they share the memories of yesterday with the hopes of tomorrow.. pretty true i reckon... i used the bo bunny time piece papers with masking, stickers and hand made tags, and some kaiser pearls and a bit of cut out chicken wire..






i always find male layouts harder to do, but i am quite happy with how this turned out...

    Wow I love this layout, the torn paper looks really cool.This is one thing I just cant seem to do. love all the little embellishments to.I agree its a lot harder to do a mans page but this one is great.

    Wow Liz, I think I have a new favourite of yours. This is stunning! I really think a touch vintage with a little shabby chic thrown in works for you! I've noticed your starting to experiment a bit more with mists and distressing etc lately, it's really adding a little something extra to your LO's! Good luck in the challenge sweetie.

    I agree, boy layouts are much more difficult. Now I have a little boy and am struggling to create pages for him. You however, did an awesome job with this challenge and your layout. Thanks for playing along!!

    Oh, and I wanted to add that all the pages you;ve been uploading lately are gorgeous. And I know how you feel - I just subbed 9 (yes, NINE) cards to a mag and NONE got picked up :( I guess it's just how it goes. Art is subjective.
