MORE THAN WORDS October Challenge - Leisure and Splats!

Gidday gidday!
I trust things are going well in your part of the sand pit!! This month is flying out the door so I had better hurry and put my layout up for this months challenge over at MORE THAN WORDS CHALLENGE which is a fun one this month and it is...

To be inspired by the word leisure, and to have 'splats' on your layout..  Well the splats are so much fun to do and I had a photo of my all time bestest thing to do for leisure so I created this....

Can you guess? Of course it is going to the beach... I dont get there as much as i would like so it is very much enjoyed when I do..  A few weeks ago my DD and I just jumped in the car and drove up to the coast for an overnight stay. It was just a couple of days of bliss. .Even the rain couldn't dampen my spirits. I love this board walk and I could stare out to the ocean for hours... This soothes my soul so much...


I have used various Kaisercraft papers and embellishments and some shells from the beach too..

The ocean is calling...

Sigh, the beach is my favorite place for leisure.. rest... and recharging...

    Know just what you mean Lizzy! I love the beach too .. not so much for swimming but for simply walking along. It is such a restful and calming place to be. Watching the waves roll in and listening to the murmur (or roar) of the sea. I don't get there often enough either and we live less than 10 minutes away. Your page is absolutely beautiful! It captures the feeling of peace and calm so well. Gorgeous photo and so perfect in black and white. I also love the muted colours with the pops of red .. absolutely stunning!!
