MORE THAN WORDS : January 2018.

Good day to you!
I trust things are going well for you..  I am sitting in front of the fan as the  night air slowly cools down a bit..
With these hot days I have been doing a bit of scrapping and the latest challenge for MORE THAN WORDS grabbed my attention as I had a birthday girl last month, so I grabbed the photo off facebook and began to create.. this is the challenge...
To scrap about a birthday and use at least two tags..
I got out some Cocoa Vanilla papers and started on my background and then my page came together...

some closer views..




Stamping, stencilling and lifting embellies up with foam tape..


I used four tags two on the side and two above my photo..

We went to Max Brenners for some thing yummy and they brought out this plate with Happy Birthday written in chocolate for my DD... and I must admit the chocolate I ate that night was really delicious!!
Thanks for a great challenge MORE THAN WORDS I got to scrap this photo the month after it was taken!!!

    Wow - I'm loving that stamped background with the stars Lizzy. And I can't believe your daughter is 17! I feel like I have watched her grow up from afar. Now that I think about it, I've probably been seeing your work for almost as long as your daughter has been in existence. That's scary! Always thrilled to see you at MTW.

    Wow!! What a gorgeous, happy page to record Your DD's birthday Lizzy!! I love the background .. you have used my favourite stamp and it looks amazing!! Loving the colour mix and the fab textures!! Absolutely stunning!! We're having a lovely cool night tonight but, from tomorrow, it's going to heat up again. They say we may have some rain on Monday!
