ANNA'S CRAFT CUPBOARD MINI CHALLENGE - Stencils!

Hello there,
How is your day going? Cant believe it is Monday already AND the last week of august... crazyness!!!

I am just popping up a layout I created over the last few days and it is for
ANNAS CRAFT CUPBOARD MINI CHALLENGE on Facebook and it is to use STENCILS.. well I have quite a few stencils so my challenge was.. which ones was I going to use!!!!
Anyhoo I used two of my favs, to add a bit of texture to the back ground of my layout and as I have used a photo of my granddaughter I was after a soft look as well...
 So a closer view of the stencilling..

You can see the two stencils I have used on my page.. just with texture paste over some smooched water color..

I have used a mix of Kaisercraft papers and some dies. The flowers are a mix of brands too..  Thank you Annas Craft Cupboard for a lovely challenge to use stencils on my layout.

CHALLENGE YOUrself #56 Mother and Daughter.

Hello there,
How is your day going? Good I hope! The cool weather is hanging on here, but there is a forecast of some lovely rain on the weekend, and I pray we get a good drop from the Heavens!!
I am just popping up my layout for this months challenge over at CHALLENGE YOUrself  which is..
to create a Mother-Daughter themed layout.. well each month I tell myself I must join in, but this month I had the perfect photo taken on Mothers day this year of 4 Generations, and I just had to sit and scrap it..  The photo has my Mum, Me, My Daughter and my darling Grand Daughter, so I simply had no excuse for not having a good photo.. so here is my layout, with some closer views..

lots of fussy cutting from Kaisercraft papers layered over a Scrapmatts chipboard frame.

some gauze for softness around the flowers..

and a pretty heart stencil on the side of my page.. from Scrapmatts.

A daughter is..

That is a very special photo and I am so happy I have scrapped it..  The hard part will be to decide whose album it will go into!!!

How has your day been? Another busy one here, but I did get some scrapping done which is always good!
I cant believe it is the middle of the month already, thats just crazy!! But it does mean a fabulous new Sketch is up for SKETCHABILITIES - #152  and it is one I enjoyed creating with... and it is..
I love the layers and I followed it quite closely.. and my layout..

I loved the layers and I added some stamping and lots of school themed embellishments.. These are last years school photos!!

MADE TO SCRAP - The Aussie Way August Challenge..

Hello there,
How has your weekend been? A good one I hope..  Winter has not quite finished for us, today was windy and oh so cold... The fire is going and the house is warm..  but the week will warm up a bit I think going by the forecast...

I am just putting up my layout for a challenge over on Facebook for
MADE TO SCRAP - The Aussie Way  for August which is a fabulous sketch.. as well as the criteria to use Aussie brands or Aussie products.. The sketch..

I stuck mostly to the sketch although I used a heart instead of a star...
and my layout.. some closer views..

I have Cocoa Vanilla papers, and two Funky Flair as well as a Kaisercraft Stencil and three little enamel dots from D-Lish Scraps!!

I just had to do some fussy cutting from the papers to follow the sketch.. and adorable photos of my Grand Daughter.. Thanks Made to Scrap for a great sketch that I enjoyed using for my layout!

ANNAS CRAFT CUPBOARD - Cybercrop Tic Tac Toe challenge.

Hello there,
I am in a bit of a bother at the moment, as we have had computer trouble.. looks like we may have to update our ol girl, I have just had the fixit man come around and get it going again, saving all my documents (Phew) but for how long will our computer keep going>>> humm.. so all the settings have been changed and the screen looks different... but I am getting there!!

I did a layout last week for Annas Craft Cupboard for the Cyber crop they were having. I only managed one layout as life has been crazy busy and I was so happy with  how it turned out..  the challenge was a tic tac toe ....

I went with stamping, layers ad texture paste..
And you know what, I cant find my scrapstuff in my documents.... (insert a big cry here...) so I am going to have to copy my layout from facebook...

 I love this photo of my grand babys tiny feet just hours after she was born.. lots of layers, stamping and texture paste through a stencil..

I am so glad you came by today,  I am a bit bewildered by everything that was familiar to me changing on my computer, hopefully I can continue on for a while before we have to get a new device which brings all that change with it... sigh...  Thanks for your comments too.. KRAFT+ August Challenge....Inspired by Terracotta!

Hello there! Welcome to Awesome August! The last month of Winter for meeee although I cant complain, the mornings are cold, but the days have been warming up nicely!! But very dry though...
And it is time to reveal the new challenge for KRAFT+ August challenge....  and it is...
to be inspired by Terracotta!! What a fun challenge.. Make sure you go over to the Kraft+ Blog and check out all the Design Team inspiration, there is sure to be something to start your ideas flowing!!
When I first saw this challenge I thought straight away about a photo I took years and years ago of my two Daughters in a pot I just bought for my garden.. and I used that photo for my page...

 I have used some Dusty Attic chipboard and did some vine stencilling around my page!

A cluster of flowers and die cuts and a fabulous Charms Heart..

Bloom and grow..

I used an edge punch on the sides of my Kraft base to add something a bit different..  These papers are so old so I am glad to have used them for my page..  I hope you find some inspiration and time to create this month..  And pop over to the KRAFT+ COMMUNITY PAGE on Facebook to keep up with the fun and creating there..
