The Scrapbook Store Sketch and Once Upon A Sketch October

Hello to you, thanks for coming by..  The days are not slowing down at all are they!!??

I have created a layout for the Scrapbook Store for October and the sketch looks like ..
October Sketch Competition 2014 I have used older photos and really old basic grey papers for this layout...

Turning Japanese..
Lots of texture on the back ground and fussy cutting...

And the challenge over at ONCE UPON A SKETCH is to use the sketch and the theme of the women/girls in our lives.. well I saw that there were some DT examples of their pets, so I thought I would do a layout on the newest 'girl' in my life.. my horse Bess.. The sketch..

a closer view of the journalling which I tucked in the top and one of the back ground textures..

Bess..
That big flourish is a new Kaiser die I got last week...and again.. older papers from the bottom of my paper drawer!!

Well I hope you are having a good day, and thanks so much for any comments you leave me too..
