With a new month, the new challenges are going up all around scrap blog land for us to enjoy.
The August challenge for SKETCHY BOARDS has a lovely autumny feel to it.. Once again there is a sketch to be inspired by and a board to use for your colors.. and this challenge is found on facebook..
I followed the sketch and used the color tonings for my layout.. I have used some old basic grey papers on this one..He stole your heart.
And my first layout for PAGE DRAFTS has been created using one of the stunning sketches by The Nifty Pixel #33.1 which looks like..
and my layout..Life is a beach..
And the August challenge for THE 123 CHALLENGE BLOG is such a pretty one...
Use the color baby pink, the word LOVE and use stripes.. How good is that!!and my layout..
I have used the Girl Pitter Patter range of papers from Kaiser..
I know life seems to be galloping along so fast, so I do appreciate you taking the time to pop by and as always thank you for your comments too...
All three are so different from one another and they are all detailed and beautiful. My absolute fave is the second one...I adore the colours you used. Have a lovely weekend my friend xx

ReplyDeleteWow, what a busy gal you've been. I love the rusty colours of the first one. Huuuuge congrats on making the Page Drafts team. My absolute fave is the third layout with it's delicate tones and elegant styling. Beautiful and inspirational work :D

ReplyDeleteThese are all fabulous creations, I absolutely love your Life is a Beach layout...the colours are just stunning & you really nailed that sketch :) Also LOVE your Pitter Patter page...it is absolutely GORGEOUS!!! Love the use of the hexagon pieces & your beautiful cluster/spray of flowers. This one really looks amazing! (I don't know why they didn't pick you for the DT!!! - must have rocks in their head!!) :))))
They are all so beautiful in their own right Lizzy, I don't think I could choose a favourite here. You always put soooooo much detail in your layouts. Just BEAUTIFUL

Love the gorgeous rich colours of the first layout and the fussy cutting. Looks wonderful and perfect or your photos. The second one is glorious and is a summer sunset on a page.
