Kraft it up and Orange Paperie October.

Hello to you! So glad you have dropped on by!

The challenge for KRAFT IT UP this month is a color one.. to use this color combo..
My first attempt at these colors looked like a disaster, blobs of orange and navy paint that mixed and turned a yukky color, but rather then throw it out I put strips of orange and navy papers over it and then put a piece of decorative kraft paper which I got in a stack from spotlight over the top of that and cut a circle out and put my photo in and layered up the embellishments.. phew.. what a save!!  I don't have much kraft cardstock so I don't like to throw it out, even if it looks like a disaster!!hehe!

Take each day as it comes..
The photo was taken at Mooloolaba on the school holidays..Nisha is standing on the rocks in the morning sun.. and a bit closer..another hand made flower using dies..

And another color challenge this time from ORANGE PAPERIE & CO which is to use black white and a splash of another color..
I love black and white together, the hard part was choosing a color to go with it.. I went with aqua..

Cousins..

and a bit closer..again hand made flowers from the same papers to be a perfect color  match..

and just a little reminder about the SCRAP THE GIRLS October challenge which is a fun recipe challenge to use..  hexagons,  squiggles, circles, rectangles and strips.. Would love to see your layout for it!!

Thanks for coming by and I always love reading your comments too!!
