Artastic March and Feeling Sketchy

Good day to you all! I hope your Monday is going wonderfully well!!

The latest inspiration challenge over at ARTASTIC is to be inspired by this painting..

Well when I saw that I thought it reminded me so much of my youngest.. and I found a serious photo of her and went with that..

She is so ... seriously cute..

 and a bit closer...

I was also inspired by the purplish back ground.. I have used old kaiser papers and flowers that I have had for years...I know the added criteria was to use a portrait photo, well mine was until I put it into the round frame!! I took it as a portrait photo is a photo of a face...

The Monday sketch is up at FEELING SKETCHY and I have created a card for it..

Well I have to get my skates on and get some other things done this afternoon!

    So Beautiful Lizzy.....The look on your daughters face is so similar to the little girls in the portrait. Love the stencil detail in the background and your flower clusters are always so so pretty. Love this one!! Wonderful card too!

    Lizzy I love your purple page and doesn't it make you feel good to be able to use up some of the older things in your stash. I love to try and make use of older things or it seems such a waste to let them sit in the cupboard. I particularly like the way the photo is framed and goes diagonally across the page.
