123 Challenge Blog November and Page Drafts Release #36

A big hello to you! I hope your day is going well!

The November Challenge for the 123 CHALLENGE BLOG was one I really enjoyed creating.. and it is..
the color of copper, the word GOOD and the technique is to use stars..  I was lucky to win some Trilby melts from Bec Beattie and I embossed my stars with the copper melts for my layout..

And I created 2 layouts for the new release #36 for PAGE DRAFTS..



The tips and techniques are all about adding wet mediums to your creations..

The sketches that I used are as follows..

Sketch #36.1 by the Nifty Pixel
and I used paint on my paint brush and flicked the bristles close to the page to make great splats..

and I cut my photo into 3 rather than use 3 photos.. I used a scrunched plastic bag and gelatoes for the pink color on my back ground..

New Month! 3 New Challenges..

And here we go into November! Yep the 11th month of the year..  As much as I wish the days would slow down, it is always an exciting day when all the new challenges go up around scrap challenge  land!!

I have 3 for you today!!

The new challenge for SKETCHY BOARDS for November was one I really enjoyed creating for.. And there are prizes, as well as a random draw when they reach 30 followers.. It was announced as the 30th follower but when there are 30 followers there will be a random draw of the names of the 30 followers and someone will be sent a prize pack that I have put together... (it is getting dusty sitting on my desk.. I hope I can send it off really soon.. !!!)

Soooo the challenge is to use the sketch and be inspired by the colors in the picture..

The November challenge for WHITE WITH ONE is a real sunshiney one!!! We are to use...

That is a great color for us coming into summer...

A special mention to EVE  at FUNKY FLAIRS STUDIOS (on facebook) who gave each of the design team girls 2 gorgeous flairs to use on our layouts.. the fabulous feather and the stunning chevron flairs.. Thanks for  your support Eve!

And it was just for 3 months but I have loved being in the inspiration team for D-LISH SCRAPS and creating for the fabulous mood boards that are put up each month... and I really loved this months... a lot!! and it is..

I used the sketch however turned it once clock wise to suit my photo...  I loved the gold, the pink, the chevron pattern, and this is my layout..

Those leaves, flowers, flair, chipboard arrow, gold washi  and the chevron bag that I cut up are all D-Lish products.. (what a great place to shop!!)

Well I know we are all going to be holding on to our hats as I reckon this month is just gunna scoot along so fast!

Feeling Sketchy Card sketch #105 and Lets Get Shabby #60

The card sketch over at FEELING SKETCHY  is another one I enjoyed using to create with and I made 2 cards again using this sketch..
and stuck to the sketch for my 2 Christmas cards..

 

 And the new challenge for LETS GET SHABBY #60 is to use this inspiration picture for your creation..

Well I knew what photo I wanted to scrap the minute I saw this picture and I created this layout of my DD on a rainy day...

The Scrapbook Store Sketch and Once Upon A Sketch October

Hello to you, thanks for coming by..  The days are not slowing down at all are they!!??

I have created a layout for the Scrapbook Store for October and the sketch looks like ..
I have used older photos and really old basic grey papers for this layout...

And the challenge over at ONCE UPON A SKETCH is to use the sketch and the theme of the women/girls in our lives.. well I saw that there were some DT examples of their pets, so I thought I would do a layout on the newest 'girl' in my life.. my horse Bess.. The sketch..

Scrap the Girls, Lets get Shabby and something exciting for me!

A big hello to you!

I feel like there has been a conspiracy to stop me from getting to my blog the last few days.. very busy..

 We had my Mums 80th birthday on saturday...

which was a wonderful family get together and special time.. and then last night we had my son and his new girlfriend come for tea... so the weekend has flown by and now is the first chance I have had in days to post on my blog..  I have 2 challenges to put up and some thing exciting for me to share!

The October challenge for SCRAP THE GIRLS is a fabulously colorful mood board that looks like..
I went with the 3 primary colors in the squares and created my layout...

 and the latest challenge for LETS GET SHABBY #59 is to create a shelf.. humm I did not know what this meant until I saw the DT's creations and thought I would create a card...  a Christmas card..  I have used a wood chippie for my shelf and have created a window and my card...

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas..

I hope you can see my teddy sitting on the window shelf.. !!

And a bit of excitement for me to share at last!

Quite some time ago I applied to create for the new CREATIVE SCRAPPERS - CREATING WITH SKETCHES E BOOK

 

 and I am so pleased to say it has now been released and is available to purchase.. all the details can be found HERE..  When I saw the sketches and the layouts this morning I must say that this book is well worth getting because if you are like me and love sketches because I got to admit some days the mojo is hiding and I need a good prod to start a layout off, then this has 120 sketches and 60 international designers... and I am so excited to be amongst all that talent!! And I can show you my layout, but the sketch is in the book!! I enjoyed using the sketch and stayed true to the design..

Feeling SKetchy Card #103 and Page Drafts Sketch

I have really been enjoying the card sketches over at FEELING SKETCHY and once again I have created 2 cards using this fabulous sketch..
Isn't that a beauty! and my cards... and yes.. they are chrissy cards.. just cos December is getting closer by the day!!

 Using older Kaiser papers and Christmas themed dies.. and a few sequins..

And.... I am putting my layout up that was  created for the October release of PAGE DRAFTS SKETCHES BY THE NIFTY PIXEL.. Another fabulous release of sketches.. I chose to create with Page Drafts Sketch #35.3 by the Nifty Pixel which looks like...
I loved the banners and it was  good challenge for me to use 3 photos.. I found these photos from my DD year 7 Dinner and went with them...

JOT Mood Board and 123 October challenge.

Hello There! I hope your day is going wonderfully well..

I was looking around for something different to get my creativity on with and came across this wonderful mood board from JOT and it is..
the something floral, something blue and something chevron got me and then I found these paper from Graphic 45 in my drawer and thought I dont know if I have ever used Graphic 45 papers before so that would be something new!! So I began to create.. some fussy cut flowers, the chevron is the back ground Kaiser stamp and the blue.. well it is there too...

Today I choose joy!

A new Month - 3 New Challenges!

Happy 1st October to you.. and I am not even going to mention how close Christmas is getting...!!!
However there is lots to do before then! I have 3 challenges to put up.. yes somehow I am on all these teams creating for your inspiration!! I was thinking of putting one up at a time, but then thought naaa!  So thank you for checking all these out!!

SKETCHY BOARDS now has a blog which will make it so much easier to find and the October Challenge is to use the board and the sketch and create your layout..

Pardon the pun, but it looks fabulous! The sketch is optional but I used the sketch for my layout and I took all the colors in the circles along the bottom and used them..
