Hello there, I hope you are having a good day whatever you are up to.. The sun is out here and the floods are now a memory, but for others they are still going through it.. My thoughts are with you.. it has been very difficult..
My therapy is scrapping so I have created two layouts for the challenges over at SOUL SCRAPPERS CHALLENGES on Facebook.. The first layout is for the sketch which looks like..
Such a lovely sketch...
Just one close up view of the flower cluster showing the layers..
I fussy cut the flowers out of the papers and layered them and then added some dimensional pearls for some interest..
Such a special moment of my Daughter and my Grand daughter...
The second layout I have created is for the Tic Tac Toe.. which is..
I have used stamping, 3x4 photo and three word title..
and a couple of closer views..
You can see the stamping on the back ground.. I did add some gesso to calm the back ground as when my layout was finished it looked too busy for me... needed some white space to unclutter it...
Another view showing the stamping..
Love this day.
The photo almost gets lost on this layout but then I think about it and life is busy and this special moment has been captured in the midst of it.. This photo is taken of my Daughter and her Partner after he proposed.. and yes... she said YES!! so the title fits so well.... Love this day!!
Well that is two pages I have created so far.. I hope to get in and do some more creating.. Hopefully I can get this mojo working again!! Use up some stash and fill some albums!!
Thanks for coming on by today.. thanks for any comments, each one is appreciated.. take care.. until next time..
Hi Lizzy! I LOVE both of your gorgeous layouts! The first one is so special and precious. What an amazing photo you scrapped - so beautifully! I love your take on the sketch - the flowers look so pretty here, too. And the second layout is stunning with another special photo! Yes, life is always so busy, and to capture this moment amongst everything going on is just wonderful. I am happy you made it through those terrible floods, too. It's good to hear that the sun is out. Thinking of you, my friend, and always so thankful for your wonderful comments at my blog. HUGS!!! SharonReplyDelete
