WHITE WITH ONE JUNE CHALLENGES

Hello there,
thanks for dropping by today.. I hope your day is going well... After it being 3 degrees here this morning, the day has warmed up and looks quite inviting.. perhaps I shall go out and do some gardening later!!

But first.. I have some layouts to share from the Challenges for WHITE WITH ONE , I have created a layout for the monthly challenge as well as for the CyberCrop Challenges happening on Facebook...
so my layout for the monthly challenge first...

and it is..

   White on white...  Well I love white on white.. I think the trick is to use texture.. so here are a couple of closer views..

 

I have used a few die cuts and some stencilling on the back ground to try and get texture happening..

 

I lifted the butterfly wings up to add some interest.

I have edited my photo to a soft black and white.. I love this photo of my Mum putting a little kiss on my Grand daughters forehead.. so precious...

The next layout I would like to share is Challenge One from the CyberCrop..

Which was to use Brendas layout as a sketch, and use Purple as the main color..

I have fussy cut two butterflies and added glitter glue for sparkle!!!

 

Cherish every day.

I have a smattering of water color paint and stencilling on the back ground.. I have used 3 patterned papers, fussy cut butterflies, and purple as main color..

Is to use your scraps, white cardstock, color of my choice, 2 flower clusters, some pearls/sequins/enamel dots and 4 patterned papers in color choice..

I have used some pearls and enamel dots.. I have used a golden yellow color to match my photo..

 

Shine on

I love this photo of my Grand daughter who was going to her first Wiggle concert! I love those fingers as she was doing the 'wiggle wiggle' !!!

To use at least 3 photos, be inspired by the back ground color in the photos and use that as the second color, use an embellishment that does not go with the theme of the layout, use a doiley and/or mixed media..

I have used a compass die cut on my page.. (a travel theme embellishment. ) 

 

I have used mixed media and the greens were inspired by my photos.

Beautiful..

I was also inspired by the gum trees in the back ground of my photos so used die cut gum leaves..

PAPER CRAFT SECRETS - June Challenge Tic Tac Toe.

Hello there!
I hope your weekend is going well.. I have just heard some rain falling on our roof, how lovely!!

I am popping by today to share my layout that I have created for one of  this months challenges over at
PAPER CRAFT SECRETS on Facebook which is..

    And I chose to use Stamping, Texture Paste and have flowers..

and some closer views..

I have used several stamps on the back ground and my favourite stencils with texture paste..

The flowers are fussy cut from the papers I have used.

This is quite a busy layout but I do like how it turned out after all the stamping and stencilling..

SCRAPMATTS CREATING FOR June..

Hello there! How are you today? The day outside is simply spectacular as we received some beautiful rain over the weekend.. very needed and appreciated that is for sure!

I am just popping up my creations for Scrapmatts this month.. For closer views and details you can see my post on the SCRAPMATTS BLOG HERE!!!!
I created a layout and a couple of cards this month..

My layout has a photo of my Grandie and lots of fussy cut flowers and bling!

And the two cards were created using the Montage Creations for the base and popping some Scrapmatts Chipboard pieces to embellish!

I love black and white together.. I have used white cardstock and black ink for my doodle stamps that I stamped around my layout.. Even the paper had doodled flowers!!

KRAFT PLUS Challenge June..

Hello there,
a new month of June... For me that means winter and as we speak or type..  the fire is going and the house is toasty! The morning temps are expected to be single digits so you may just hear me groan as I try and get out of bed in the morning... haha!!!

So onto the new challenge for KRAFT+ June  which is another wonderful one that the design team loved so I hope you will tooo!!! and it is..
