KAISERCRAFT BLOG CHALLENGE APRIL..
Hello there,
Monday here and the day is just so lovely outside.. Autumn can be such a beautiful season before we rug up for Winter..
I am just popping my layout up for this months KAISERCRAFT BLOG CHALLENGE which consists of my favourite colors.... blue...
There is a nautical feel to these colors too and I went with a photo of two of my DD's at the beach... I have used a few Kaisercraft ranges that have the blue colors..
including High Tide, Ubud Dreams and Indigo Skies.. I have used Kaisercraft dies and stencil too..
some closer views.
I enjoyed creating the back ground!!
I dusted off these Kaisercraft rhinestones which have been in my stuff for years!!!
Seaside memories..
I enjoyed creating this layout, I guess because I just love blue! Thank you Kaisercraft for the lovely blue papers!
I hope your day is going well, thanks for taking a moment to come by.. thanks so much for the wonderful comments too..

STUCK?! April 15 Sketch & CHALLENGE YOUrself..
Hello there!
I hope you are not in a chocolate induced coma but enjoying today! I have been very good this Easter and have only had 2 eggs so far!!! But the week is still young!!! hehe!!
I had a lovely photo of my DD on her Graduation day and was looking for any excuse to scrap it, and thought about this months challenge for SCRAP YOUrself #40 which is...
to use the word inspire or inspired.. I could not be more proud of my DD who worked part time and put herself through Uni living away from home.. So she is my source of inspiration for my layout.. I found a quote that worked perfectly with my thoughts on this layout..
And I have teamed it up with a lovely sketch from STUCK?! SKETCHES April 15th which looks like..
And my layout...
A couple of closer views..
I have used several collections of Kaisercraft papers..
I love this quote... Family are so important to support and help each other, and education is an amazing tool to have in life..
This happened...
A truly amazing day... So happy to have scrapped that photo!!!
Thanks so much to CHALLENGE YOUself and STUCK?! SKETCHES for two wonderful challenges...
Thank you for dropping by today and thank you for the lovely comments you leave me too....

ARCHI-SCRAPS & KRAFT+ - APRIL..
Well here we are in the 4th month already... and new month means new challenges for you to get your scrappy teeth into!!
The challenge for ARCHI-SCRAPS is an easy one and it is to.....
to use SEWING either hand or machine.. and yes I am told this is a real building!!
and I did another card this month..
I machine stitched around my card.. The tension on my old machine isnt very good and the stitches look a bit wonky, but I love the look for scrapbooking!! You can pop over and check out the DT inspiration and link up over at ARCHI-SCRAPS HERE!!!!
And the April challenge for KRAFT+ is another fabulous one.. how do they think up such imaginative and innovative challenges?? and it is...
SWATCH IT UP!! Yes use these things.. paint chips, samples, swatches, on your layout somewhere.. the Design Team have amazing and creative ideas on how they have used these color chips on their layouts so do your self a favour and pop on over and check them OUT HERE!!!!
And make sure your creation is on a base of Kraft!!
and my take...
some closer views..
love creating clusters! I have used lots of old flowers, those older style of flat daisy type ones.. They are good to pop into a cluster with about half of the flower showing..
Precious Moments.
I have also used some paint chips for the hearts and leaves that I cut using dies.. This photo is so special as Lucy was our much loved Foxie and no longer with us.. still miss her...
So plan a trip to Bunnings and while hubby checks out the tools you can head to the paint department and look for some paint chips.. and maybe dont be like me and get so many of them that you could fill a large zip lock bag!! hehe! ssshhh dont tell on me!! But we had a Masters Store closing down so I just thought it would be less for them to have to pack away!!
I hope your day is going well and thanks too for leaving those lovely comments that make my day!!
