A warm hello to you! thanks for coming by.. We seem to be in the middle of a long heat wave here, I hope the weather is more pleasant wherever you are!
I have two layouts to put up today for two fabulous challenges.
The challenge for
SCRAP THE BOYS FEBRUARY is a wonderful sketch which looks like..
and I have scrapped a photo of my nephews son for my layout using older papers..

I found my button stash and used a few..
Zebby.
His name is Zebulun, what a great name.. Zebby for short! He is a cutie!
And I have joined in with
SCRAP THE GIRLS FEBRUARY which is a fabulous mood board which looks like..

Sisters.
My oldest sister got some photos done for her 60th birthday last year and this is one of them.. I have had that black lace paper for ages too.. and the papers are Basic Grey Little Black Dress, so it is good to use them!

These are GORGEOUS! LOVING the colors and the photos!!!!!!! Oh ... and I kept meaning to tell you, the tulips on my lo ... those were at the Bellagio conservatory in Las Vegas :)

It is just so soft & showcases the photo sooo nicely..... & funny, I just did the Scrap the Girls one today! But not up for a few days..... LOVE your take. And you MADE those flowers...clever clogs! ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing little boy LO - the background looks like he is laying in his nursery! Beautiful! And what a wonderful memory captured with the photo of 'sisters' I'm one of three 'sisters' too - we should do this!! Love the almost reverse colour in the background of the two sides. Special!

ReplyDeleteWow Lizzy, you have created 2 beautiful layouts here, I was going to reply singularly to them, but found I couldn't (hence the deleted post). The STB is so soft and just right for Zebby's photo, the STG is wonderful with the black lace paper. Isn't it great to use the older stash, and yet it doesn't look old.
