OFF THE RAILS & SCRAP THE GIRLS Sept..

Hello there,  I hope your day is going well!

I have 2 challenges to put up today..

The challenge over at OFF THE RAILS SCRAPBOOKING is a fabulous mood board which looks like..
I took inspiration from the colors, red black and grey and I also made some flowers inspired by the red gerbera in the center picture.. and my layout...

some closer veiws..
 I put some hambly on the back ground inspired by the grey branches..

And because 2 Crafty is a sponsor this month I have used a gorgeous 2 Crafty flourish dabbed with black gesso for great texture!

And I loved the challenge for SCRAP THE GIRLS Sept which is a lovely sketch that looks like..
I have stuck closely to the sketch and have lots of fussy cutting on my layout..  The photo is a very special one too..

Memories..
This was the last photo shoot with my doggie Lucy, so the photo is oh so precious now..  The quote was so appropriate too.. Love these Kaiser papers..

and this week our family has welcomed a new little member.. She is fun, full of mischief and mayhem,  she gets me up during the night and she has pretty much wiggled her way into our hearts..  She is not a replacement for Lucy, but she sure has filled the emptiness..   May I introduce you to.......

GRACIE...
I am sure you will watch her grow in photos on my layouts in the future..I guess I am one of those people who loves to have dogs around!! I am not used to the getting up at night though... hehe.. bit old for that.. hopefully she will settle all that soon!!

    Hope you are enjoying a great weekend Lizzy! You new puppy is so sweet.....dogs are the best company! Hope it won't be too long before she sleeps all night. Amazing detail on both layout..really fabulous work!

    Awwww - love that saying! A BIG welcome to your new fur baby. May the night time awakening be short & her time with you long:):) ADORE these 2 pages. Really admire the layers & fussy cutting on the last one.... & the top one? Jaw dropping on all sorts of levels... The twine works so well, the chippy looks amazing & that colour combo - FABULOUS!!!!! And yes- too short a weekend.... Had the grand boy o/n. Was great!!

    The first layout is stunning , the colour scheme, beautiful photo. The second layout so precious and beautiful . I don't think we ever stop missing our fur babies when they leave us.I certainly miss having my little guy around. But a big welcome to Gracie, what a beautiful girl, I am sure she will bring you lots of happiness and I love the little quote at the end, I hope you don't mind I have saved it

    First of all, two wonderful layouts Lizzy. The first is so dramatic with that gorgeous colour scheme and beautiful photo .. a fabulous take on the mood board. Your second page is absolutely beautiful too. Love all the fussy cutting and the precious photo of your beautiful Lucy. How wonderful that you found Gracie!! She is absolutely gorgeous and I'm sure will bring a lot of joy into your lives and, hopefully, won't wake you up at night for too much longer, LOL!!     Hi Lizzy! All i can say is a great big WOW! The layout you made for Off the Rails is simply stunning! You used the mood board to perfection here. Your layout and photo are absolutely gorgeous!! And Secondly, the layout you made for STG is so awesome! That photo and your journaling brought tears to my eyes! Your gorgeous layout is obviously filled with love!!     These are both super gorgeous pages, Lizzy. The colour combo in the top one looks amazing and all that fussy cutting in the second - WOW! but well worth it for such a special page. Little Gracie is just soooooooooo adorable. Looking forward to seeing your pages with her as she grows.
