Well I hope your month is off to a good start..
Sadly I cannot say the same.. I said goodbye to my faithful little doggie Lucy today after she died last night.. She would have turned 14 next week.. She was like my shadow, always by my side.. I miss her already... It has been a shock even though she had not been well this last week, she always recovered.. but not this time.. Just last sunday she was in photos with my daughter.. and I will end this blog post with a photo..

So sad to hear of the loss of your precious pet......we lost our dog of 14 years at Christmas. I can understand how you are feeling, so sorry!

ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful photo of ALL your girls, especially your bestest girl doggy friend. So sad. They are such a 'presence' besides us ..... hugs. And what GORGEOUS photos of your Other Human Girls! I adore your Sketchy Boards 'take' on the sketch [just as well you're on the DT or you'd win this one, I reckon!!!].....hmmmnnnnn.....custard, eh? I LOVE your bg with that stenciling leading down to the photo....gotta be easier than Marsala. Should have time to try this on SCRAP CAMP!!!! I'm not excited. Not 'alf!!!

Lizzy, I was so sorry to hear of the passing of your beloved Lucy. I know exactly how it feels to lose a pet after so many years of their companionship. Heartbreaking. :(

As always exquisite work. So much detail. The Sketchy Board layout , the colour so soft and pretty. So sorry for your loss of your beloved Lucy. I still miss my Scruffy and it has been 5 months. Perhaps we never stop missing them, how precious the photo of her with your daughter is . Lucy was lucky to have a beautiful family to love her x
