I have 2 layouts to put up today..
The December challenge for KAISERCRAFT was to use the sketch and the color scheme which look like this..
I used the sketch like this...
and we are to use these colors..
Well these colors are very festive to me so I have used a few different ranges of Kaiser Christmas collections and created this layout..
Close ups..
Believe in the magic of Christmas..
I have used all Kaiser papers including the papers used for the dies.. This photo was taken several years ago..but still a favorite of mine!!And sadly the last challenge for ONCE UPON A SKETCH has gone up, I have tried to create for this challenge as often as I could and it was one that I looked forward each month.. So even though there are no prizes this month, I have still created a layout.
The sketch I have used like this..
and the theme is... December is... Well for me December is a most special month... as are all the months my children were born, and my youngest was born in December so this is what I went with for this theme.. I have a photo of her on a birthday a few years ago.. I made a jelly cream sponge which has remained a favorite birthday cake ever since..!!
some closer views..
(That celebrate stamp is part of the stamps released by Gabrielle earilier this year.. )
and the journalling..
Keep Calm and Party
Thank you to everyone who helped keep ONCE UPON A SKETCH going.. I will miss the challenges... Thanks for the memories, and the layouts I now have because I was inspired to scrap them because of the challenges..
And thank you to everyone who has come by my blog this year.. I have appreciated each one of you for your comments and support.. If the busy-ness of this season keeps me from posting again for a while, I want to take this opportunity to wish you a Very Merry Christmas, may you enjoy spending time with those you love, and may the Love given in the first Christmas find HIS way into your heart and life... xx lizzy
