Scrap Africa/AFSC and FWAB June..

Hello there on this the last day of June.. Can you believe it?? It is blowing a gale outside and very cool, no surprises as we are in the middle of winter here!!

I have 2 layouts to finish the month off with..

I have joined the challenges over at SCRAP AFRICA and ANOTHER FREAKING SCRAPPY CHALLENGE as they allow challenges to be joined..
Scrap Africa is to use your stash, and I really went to the bottom of my drawer to find these old Basic Grey papers, and some old stickers and an old frame from Twiddleybiz and I have used the sketch from AFSC which looks like..
and my layout...

Gorgeous girl..
The die cut squares would be really old and the ribbon is too! And the photo is one I have had for years as it is a 8 by 5 a size I don't do nowadays!! What a challenge to use old stuff and not have it looking out of fashion!!

and the other layout I have created is the June sketch for FLOURISH WITH A BLING which is to use the sketch and at least one FWAB product..

I have used the sketch like this..
and my layout..

Be your own kind of beautiful..

I have used 2 of the metallic vines and a little mushroom of FWAB products.

Well thanks for coming by, Keep warm if you are in a cold season, and enjoy if you are in a warmer season! It is so wonderful to have friends visit from all around the world.. and so lovely to read any comments you leave me too!! Enjoy the rest of your day!

  2. AH Lizzy what a way to end off the month. I love both layouts and your DD is just gorgeous. How cool is it to use all that old stuff... I have the BG paper too and I am hoping if I hang on to it for long enough it will come back into fashion :P You rocked it and I love the design of that layout. Thanks so much for playing along with us at Scrap Africa for our Scrap your Stash challenge. You rocked it. The FWAB layout is also just gorgeous. I love the rich vibrant colours you use. <3

  8. Fantastic layouts, Lizzy, and beautifully embellished! Isn't it funny how different the climate is half a world a way? We are in summer here with heat and humidity for the next few days--not my favorite time of the year but makes me appreciate the other seasons so much more.

  12. Hey great, this has been an awesome help to me, I have had some really strange annoyances in my personal life recently and it is funny how certain things can really pick you back up or make you look differently on the horrible things and get working on the other things in life. Anyway thank you a lot.
