I have 2 layouts to put up that I have worked on during last week...
The challenge over at ORANGE PAPERIE is to use a vintage photo with non vintage papers.. I looked up the meaning of vintage and it does mean old or mature, from an era past.. So I have used a photo of my Dads farm that I am guessing was taken before the 1950's of our old house and milking sheds and pig sty's.. I have used a mix of Basic Grey papers.
Veradilla.
And I liked the look of the sketch over at PURPLE PUMPKIN created by Kylie and I used it like this..

Both are beautiful layouts Lizzy, all that layering in the first one wow and such a fabulous photo , I bet it has a lot of wonderful memories. The Second layout , love the colour combo and also the photo in black and white is perfect & gorgeous cluster. I hope Bess is settling in well. Thanks so much for joining in at Orange Paperie

ReplyDeletewell, you know me Lizzie...I'm gonna prefer the non- purple one, aren't I...but I must admit, that colouring does work really well for the OP site.....& I do ADORE that white masking [???] at least, I think it is, in the bg....my heart is on the blue one, though....you have ROCKED our PP sketch & totally made it sing. I can hear it! Truly [winks] - 100% LOOOOOVE it:):)

ReplyDeleteI love both pages ! The vintage photo is amazing, I really love that soft, faded washed out look of old photos and the background paper you have chosen is perfect for it. Wow, you have gone to town on all those beautiful cut out shapes and flowers, they look amazing ! xx
