OUAS, The Scrapbook Store sketch and Orange Paperie & Co - August

Good Morning to you all! I hope your weekend was good, they just go so fast don't they!? I am just sharing a few challenges I have created during last week..

The August challenge for Once Upon A Sketch is one I am sure we all would have many layouts we could do with the theme of  "I'll never forget.." and to use the sketch...I rotated the sketch like so..

And the theme I chose for this after much to-ing and fro-ing with ideas was this one..
My journalling says.. I will always remember how blessed I am.. I WILL NEVER FORGET the moments when each of you came into my life. I wanted each of you with all my heart. I may not have silver or gold but I am rich with you in my life. There is nothing worth more than my family.. Never forget.. I love you..

and a bit closer..

I also created a layout for The Scrapbook Store sketch which looks like..August 2013 Sketch Competition

And my layout using old old papers...

I have used die cuts as well as fussy cutting and some washi tape!


And the challenge for Orange Paperie & co is a lovely one.. We are asked to use chipboard and flowers... did someone say flowers?? hehe...

My take... Picture Perfect Moment...  Our horse was nuzzling my DD and I got a beautiful photo!



I have used a gorgeous Scrapmatts frame and  flourish and prima flowers.. with some masking too.

    LOVE all your layouts Lizzy, such heartful journalling in the first, great use of stash in the second and the last oh so pretty! love the frame and the flowers, love the texture and the photo is beautiful, think if I had to choose it might be my favourite.     LOL....no! You didn't do the FLOWER LO...how ODD!!!!!! Nah, love that oval frame & how you've placed the clusters around it...& your journaling for OUA...S - really lovely, as are those red flowers...YUM!!! And, since we are THE lizzy's...guess which one I was going to tackle today???? Yep ,the Scrapbook STore...it's such a nice sketch to work with, I reckon..loving those sun rays:):):) Better get outta bed first....!!!!!!!!!

    Such beautiful pages Lizzy. You always create from the heart and thats so refreshing when often we feel compelled ( and I am guilty at times ) to create with a technique, style or product being our focus. Love the retro/vintage page with the "old,old papers" and your last page is just so darn pretty . xx
