Stuck - July sketch, Pixels and Paper challenge July.

A good day to you! I hope you are having a great day!

I have often seen the lovely sketches over at Stuck? sketches and thought I should have a go one day.. well I did!

The sketch..

and my layout using the Basic Grey range Knee High papers and a photo of my DD Hannah..

May you follow your dreams and never be lost!
and a bit closer...
Lots of fussy cutting and layering of the flowers and a gorgeous zva creative bling flourish...

And another new challenge site has started up called Pixels and Paper Challenge Blog and they use a picture for our inspiration and we are to create a layout based on the inspiration we get from the picture..
The picture..
Well I got a few things from this.. This could be my youngest in this picture with her hair in plaits sitting with one of our dogs.. and I took the wood from the jetty and I found this photo and went with that..I used a photo of my youngest sitting in front of a wooden cupboard with our dogs.. Her hair is in plaits and she has a fringe just like the girl in the picture..

Puppy love..
and a bit closer.. I have the old Basic Grey papers Bittersweet and the matching chipboard stickers from that range..

Thanks so much for your visit and thank you  for all the lovely comments you take a minute to leave me too!

  7. Such beautiful layouts. I do remember the Basic Grey Bittersweet very well. I was very in love with that line when it came out. I did what we always do. I hoarded it until I made a few layouts...and then my DIL inherited it.

  28. Two beautiful pages. I love the pastel shades and of course all those pretty fussy cut flowers in the first one as well the frame you have used, gorgeous. The second one has a kind of 'hippy' feel to it. Beautiful colours and patterned shapes, and again fantastic use of that really lovel frame. xx

  29. Hi Lizzy both pages are so pretty, I love how you have interpreted the first sketch with all those wonderful layers your fussy cutting is fabulous. The inspiration you used for your second one is just gorgeous, I love how your frame defines the wooden cupboard of your photo. It looks more like an element than a photo. Hope all is well in your part of the world. Danie xx
