May Sketches with a Twist

Happy May! yes it is time to flip the calendar over again!! 5th month of the year... and the May Sketches with a Twist Sketch is this one.......

and before you freak out I found the sketch a lot of fun to do and I stuck to the foundation of it and found it came together nicely.... the twist is to have some sewing on it somewhere... so my take on it......

Christmas 2010.

I have hand sewing around the edge of my layout... I am still finding Christmas photos not yet scrapped so this was a great sketch to use 3 photos in....
I hope you join in with this challenge this month...

  8. I was so excited to see everyone's take on this fabulous sketch Lizzie, it definitely was a challenge to turn into a card but for a layout I thought it was fabulous! I was certainly not disappointed. Your layout is stunning! The colours and softness of your page have such a warm and comfy, vintage feel to it and your photos and embellishments are beautiful!

  12. Hi there Lizzy...this is a very intricate sketch...I love what you did with it!! Once you are on a roll with all the Christmas goodies out, I would say just tackle those photos!!
