Actually it is for my Daughters friends birthday.. as I am not much good at cards...(anyone want to come and teach me!!!??haha!!) I thought I would do a layout.. As you may know my DD Hannah spent 6 months in the UK with her friend Jess.. so I though I would use a photo of the two of them overseas.. This photo is taken in Rome in January this year and I think it is lovely.. Not bad considering I got it off facebook!! I did do a bit of editing on Picnik.
I have used Kaiser Madam Boutique papers, Petaloo flowers and vine, Kaiser chipboard, Kaiser clock overlay, lace and MS punches...

Thank you for all the hints on getting a brighter photo of my layouts.. For this one I used a flash. My photo is a matt finish so there isn't any shine... Note to self.. use matt photos!!!

Wow Lizzie this is stunning. The clock and the market sign are just gorgeous as are your beautiful colours and embellishments. I am sure the birthday girl is going to love this memory of their trip to Rome and overseas and it will be treasured always.
