Soul Scrappers One Word challenge

 Hello there! Thanks for coming by.. 

 Just a quick post to pop up a layout I have created for the Soul Scrappers One Word Challenge on Facebook for this month which is to have a Title for your page using one word from the Letters L, S or M.. and I have chosen the letter L for my grandson Lorenzo!!

I have cut out some stars and ribbons and fussy cut a little teddy bear for embellishments for my layout.. and I reckon that photo is so cute!! Thanks Soul Scrappers for a great challenge.. I was hoping to get more layouts done but the days seem to fly by and before I know it the week has gone, and soon another month will be gone....

Soul Scrappers June Sketch

 Hello there! How are you? I hope things are going well with you, I am not sure what I am doing with my days but they are flying by! Already the middle of June and I have only created one layout for a challenge.. I had hoped I would have done more by now... Oh well!! I shall share what I have created... 

The sketch over at Soul Scrappers on Facebook is another lovely one and I have followed it pretty closely. and it is..

These photos were taken a few years ago now... the days and years are going by so quickly.. sigh.. somedays I wish I could turn back time just to be in those moments again..

Kraft+ June Challenge - Going Monochrome!

 Well a pinch and a punch for the first of the month.. June... and I reckon we are having a taste of winter this week.. rather chilly today!! 

So with all the new scrapbooking challenges going up, the new one for Kraft+ is a fabulous one and it is..

Any one shade of  color on a base of Kraft... I was inspired by the bottom photo of the sunflower and found a photo of my grandie and went with that.. I thought I would use orangey colors on my page..

lots of fussy cut flowers out of the papers.. a little pop of bling in the centres!!

I used a pinch for the leaves, some texture dies and strips of paper a good way to use up scraps!!
