4 Layouts for the SCRAP SUITE Challenges.

Hello there,
How is your day going? It is hot and desperately dry here. Too hot to be outside, so inside it is, and what better way to pass the day then by scrapping...!! I think so!!

The last week or so I have been creating layouts for this months challenges over at the THE SCRAP SUITE which is run by D-LISH SCRAPS on Facebook..  I challenged myself to see if I could get 4 layouts completed as I have been such a slow scrapper of late... and yes, I surprised myself by getting 4 layouts done!!

Challenge #1.

To Scraplift a layout created by Amanda..
This is the layout I chose to scraplift..

Challenge #2.

To use paint and patterns. I used 5 different patterned stamps and pink paint on my background.

To use birds/butterflies/ bows. I used all 3 on my layout.

To use green and include a list or lots of journalling..

I have used some fabulous green paint on the back ground and a list on the tag as well as some journalling.

And there are my 4 layouts.. I really need to just stick things down and stop fussing!!! hehe!!  And then I would get more layouts done!!

I didnt renew my contract with Shop and Crop Scrapbooking, and then I saw the call for Stuck?! and as I had applied once before, I just thought I would try again..  what will be, will be.. and I was so excited to get the email saying I had made the team..  I am looking forward to creating with the wonderful Sketches, they are so easy to follow and I will be getting layouts done at the same time!! So that starts next month.. which isnt that far away....

Sneek Peeks at Octobers Kaisercraft Kit for Shop and Crop Scrapbooking.

Hi there,
As I type I am sitting in a very warm room and although it is nearly 8.30 at night, there is not a breath of air coming in the window.. I think the weather has missed the memo that it is Spring and has jumped feet first into summer..  this week is predicted to hot up even further...  Yeechs!

SCRAP THE GIRLS - September Sketch Challenge.

Hello there, how is your day going?
It is rather hot here, humm it is sposed to be Spring, and that means slowly warming up to summer, not straight into it!! ah well...

It is school holidays here so I thought while things slow down a bit I would try some challenges.. The Sketch at
SCRAP THE GIRLS grabbed my eye and I had all these ideas of lots of mixed media but ended up not using much at all!!! The sketch looks like..
I followed the sketch but in a larger format!! And my layout...

I have used the lovely Kaisercraft Lilac Whisper paper collection for this layout, the flowers were made using a Kaisercraft die. Thanks SCRAP THE GIRLS for a great sketch. it was so nice to sit and create today..

SHOP AND CROP SCRAPBOOKING Blog Post.

Hello there,
How is your day going? The weather around here is heating up, Spring has Sprung, but I think Summer might be giving it a nudge!!

I have a blog post over at SHOP AND CROP SCRAPBOOKING where I am sharing two layouts, one of which was created from the AUGUST CROP KIT which is full of summery papers and embellishments, and also instructions on how I created my layout..

And this is my first layout..

123 CHALLENGE BLOG - SEPTEMBER CHALLENGE

Hello there,
I hope your week is going well.. I am just coming by to pop up this months challenge for the 123 CHALLENGE BLOG and I must say I enjoyed this months challenge.. some months are a bit harder than others, but this one I enjoyed!! and it is..
To be inspired by the sketch, use the 2 words and the 3 colors.. You can use other colors but the 3 need to be seen predominately..

This is my DD and her pussy cat who she just loves to bits!! The papers are really quite old so it has been good to use them..

KRAFT+ SEPTEMBER - WHAT'S THE BUZZ??

Hello there! Welcome to September and also to Spring!! I love Spring, the colors of the flowers and the warmer days before the heat of summer.... hummm.. love it~!

And so with the  new month, comes the new Scrappy Challenges! And this months challenge for
KRAFT+ will have you buzzing!!! Literally!

and it is..
Whats the buzz! To be inspired by our hard working little friends -
BEES! or even by this fabulous graphic (yellow, hexagons, stitching)

Well I knew about this challenge months ago, so when our tree had blossoms that was covered in busy bees, I had to go out and grab several photos for this challenge..  I just wish I could have added the loud buzzing as well to my photos!!
