A very warm Hello to you in this week between Christmas and New Years... It is so hot here today, I really hope we get some rain soon.. but well.. it is summer...
I have managed to get one more layout done for this years challenges and it is for... SHOW US YOUR STUFF which is a fabulous sketch and to use the word TOGETHER as well as something hand made on your layout..
The sketch..
I loved the splashes on the sketch and I extended that out a bit on my layout..
some closer views.
I have made two flowers (the cream ones..) for my layout.. All the chipboard is from Scrapmatts.
Together..
My gorgeous girls!!
I just cannot believe how fast this year has flown, but I reckon we will all be saying the same thing in twelve months time... I thank each and every one of you for your visits and wonderful comments during this year and I wish you all an amazing New Year and may God Bless you in the year ahead..

D-LISH SCRAPS December..
Hello there,
I hope you have had a most wonderful Christmas day, doing what makes your heart happy, remembering the reason for the season and Gods great gift..
I had a lovely day with my Parents, my Husbands Parents and two of my older kids came as well... our table was full and so were the plates of food which we shared together.. Later on we were able to grab a photo..
I am so blessed to be able to have our Parents come and join in with us.. each year they become more precious. and yes I like my Mrs Claus apron which I wear each year as I prepare the goodies for every one to eat!! I am hoping I dont need to cook for a few days, and let the leftovers be our meal!!!
I was able to pop into my scrap room for some creating between all the preparations and I have created a layout for the D-LISH SCRAPS MOOD BOARD for this month.. It is another pretty color combo...
Love these peachy colors.. I found a photo taken nearly 13 years ago of my youngest and I have used that for my layout...
some closer views..
I have used the JAP kit too, it was filled with such gorgeous embellishments..
I like this cluster of flowers and I really love those cute sequin bows in the kit!!
Adore you.
I cant believe this photo was taken so long ago... my DD is nearly 16.... oh my goodness.. time just flies... I have used older papers and flowers from the kit as well as from my D-Lish stash!!
I hope your day is going well, thanks so much for coming on by.. and thank you for all the comments you leave me too...

KRAFT + ..
Good day to you! By crikey we are on the down hill run now sliding into Christmas!!! I hope your plans are all coming together.. I find these few days before Christmas Eve are like the quiet before the storm!!! All the main work starts Christmas Eve when the salads are put together and desserts made... but until then...
I have some news! I have been keeping a secret for a little while now... I am joining the design Team for
(Drum Roll !!!!!)
KRAFT + You can see the announcement and the other new designers HERE!!!
This is an aussie site with aussie designers and I am humbled and excited to be joining the team for 2017.
and so I would like to share with you the challenge for December and my take on it.
Home Sweet Home.. How does this inspire you and what do you think of when you think of HOME!!?
Well I immediately thought of my family, my children who have made my house a home.. the marks on the wall from kids, the worn carpet or spots when something was split and we could never quite get the stain out.. and at this time of the year, there is no place like home for Christmas.. and that is what I went with..
some closer views..
my title...
What is it about a white picket fence around your home??
Home for Christmas..
Happiness (to me) is having the kids home for Christmas...
Thanks so much for coming by, I know this week is gunna get very busy, so in case I dont get back for another post, I would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas, filled with love and family and Gods Blessings and Peace.

SCRAP THE GIRLS - DECEMBER..
Well Hello there, so nice you could come by, I know how cray cray things can be this time of the year.. I think hiding in my scrap room and creating (aka avoiding reality) is a good thing to do! heehe.. I have got my recipe books out, so does that mean I am organized!!! I am not panicking ... yet!! still time!!!!
So in the meantime, I have a layout to share that I have created for this months challenge for SCRAP THE GIRLS which is soooo pretty, and it is...
I have gone with pink and gold for my colors and a photo of my DD when she lightened her hair up a bit this year...
some closer views.
Soft pink flowers, gold die cut leaves, gold mist on the back ground..
Stencilling... gold mist...
Be your own kind of beautiful..
A mix of Kaisercraft papers and collectables.. and another photo I have 'borrowed' off facebook!!!
I hope your day is going well, I dont know about Santa making a list, I know I have to have a list too, otherwise I cant remember what I have to get and do before Christmas!!!
Thanks for your lovely comments, I appreciate each one!

Thanks so much for coming on by, I know we are all so busy this time of the year!! My DD has finished school for the year, and at the moment I have my hubby in hospital, for the second time. He has been battling cellulitis in his hand and finger for a month now... He has had 3 surgeries and there will be one more.. We sure hope and pray he is on the mend really soon.. So each comment last month was really appreciated and so many friends have lifted my spirits greatly.. We all have seasons of mountains and valleys. In the valleys we learn so much and on the mountains we appreciate so much.. so thank you dear friends...
Thanks so much for any comments, it is nice to know you have dropped by!!
