ANNAS CRAFT CUPBOARD - Cybercrop Tic Tac Toe challenge.

Hello there,
I am in a bit of a bother at the moment, as we have had computer trouble.. looks like we may have to update our ol girl, I have just had the fixit man come around and get it going again, saving all my documents (Phew) but for how long will our computer keep going>>> humm.. so all the settings have been changed and the screen looks different... but I am getting there!!

I did a layout last week for Annas Craft Cupboard for the Cyber crop they were having. I only managed one layout as life has been crazy busy and I was so happy with  how it turned out..  the challenge was a tic tac toe ....

I went with stamping, layers ad texture paste..
And you know what, I cant find my scrapstuff in my documents.... (insert a big cry here...) so I am going to have to copy my layout from facebook...

 I love this photo of my grand babys tiny feet just hours after she was born.. lots of layers, stamping and texture paste through a stencil..

I am so glad you came by today,  I am a bit bewildered by everything that was familiar to me changing on my computer, hopefully I can continue on for a while before we have to get a new device which brings all that change with it... sigh...  Thanks for your comments too.. KRAFT+ August Challenge....Inspired by Terracotta!

Hello there! Welcome to Awesome August! The last month of Winter for meeee although I cant complain, the mornings are cold, but the days have been warming up nicely!! But very dry though...
And it is time to reveal the new challenge for KRAFT+ August challenge....  and it is...
to be inspired by Terracotta!! What a fun challenge.. Make sure you go over to the Kraft+ Blog and check out all the Design Team inspiration, there is sure to be something to start your ideas flowing!!
When I first saw this challenge I thought straight away about a photo I took years and years ago of my two Daughters in a pot I just bought for my garden.. and I used that photo for my page...

 I have used some Dusty Attic chipboard and did some vine stencilling around my page!

A cluster of flowers and die cuts and a fabulous Charms Heart..

I used an edge punch on the sides of my Kraft base to add something a bit different..  These papers are so old so I am glad to have used them for my page..  I hope you find some inspiration and time to create this month..  And pop over to the KRAFT+ COMMUNITY PAGE on Facebook to keep up with the fun and creating there..

MADE TO SCRAP - THE AUSSIE WAY JULY Challenge - Stars and Sequins!

Hello there,
Here we are at Friday again, the weekend is just a sleep away! The weeks go by so fast and I will continue saying this all year I guess..hehe..
I am just popping up a layout I created for a new site on Facebook called Made to Scrap - The Aussie Way and its first challenge is to use Stars and Sequins and you can find the challenge on Facebook HERE!!!!! and an added criteria is to use our Aussie hand made stores..
So for my layout I have used a Charms Star and a Funky Flair flair..

I also have stencilled stars and die cut stars and the sequins are randomly placed around my page.. Please excuse the warp of my page due to the stencilling. KAISERCRAFT JULY BLOG CHALLENGE - Flowers!

Yes I am back to share a layout I created some time ago actually and haven't gotten around to blogging it so I had better get to it as this month is flying by!
Over on the KAISERCRAFT BLOG the challenge for July is to use flowers...
well you dont have to tell me twice to create something with flowers!!! hehe!!  So I found a photo, had a look in my Kaisercraft stash and began creating!!

 I have used lots of Kaisercraft flowers in different forms, like this rolled rose ribbon, and mini roses.

and the big roses as well as some of the really older flowers that first came out. I have used a flower die too!

and not to forget some fussy cut flowers from the papers..

Beautiful.

This is pretty much all Kaisercraft except the adhesives! Another good challenge from Kaisercraft!

KRAFT+ COMMUNITY BAKE OFF CHALLENGE..

How are you on this sunday night? I hope your weekend has been good, I just wish they didnt go so fast!!
Over on the KRAFT+ COMMUNITY PAGE FACEBOOK page Sandra put up a Recipe challenge for a Blind Scrap for this weekend...  She posted the 'ingredients' and the 'recipe' and we were to create our page over the weekend..  The recipe was..

So off I went yesterday and got creating... The instructions were good to follow and I am happy with my layout..

C.S.I. : Color Stories, Inspiration #258

 So nice you have dropped on by! I hope you are keeping well and the weather is just right! It is still cold in the morning here, but it soon warms up to be quite pleasant..

I am just popping in to post the latest mid month challenge over at C.S.I. : Color, Stories, Inspiration #258 which Scrapmatts Design Team were invited to guest at again..  and it is..

and my layout.. I have used the colors and documented a trip to the beach.. I have also used circles, wet medium, and beach and nautical elements..

My daughter takes after me in that she enjoys looking for shells on the beach, something I find so relaxing!
This challenge is open until the end of the month.. I have used various Kaisercraft papers and embellies on my page too.. and sadly my local Kaisercraft store is closing down this month, I will really miss it..

SKETCHABILITIES : SKETCH #151

Hello there,
How are you on this fine day? We have been having a touch of winter these last few days,  and I did manage to check the temperature gauge this morning at 7 am (I was not getting up any earlier than that!!!!) and it was minus 2....  That is cold for us!! But it is Winter!!

And so it is time to reveal the new sketch for SKETCHABILITIES #151 (Yes that first month went quickly!) and it is a fabulous one for multi photos... and it looks like..

I actually rotated the sketch once clockwise as it suited the photos better...  Make sure you check out the inspiration from the other DT as they have all created wonderful layouts using this sketch!!

I have used photos from a few years ago, amazing how quickly the years go by..  This is a great sketch to use multiple photos from a photo shoot as these were from..

CHARMS CREATIONS JUNE/JULY SCRAPLIFT CHALLENGE..

How are you on this fine day?  Well it is fine here, and the last week of school holidays for my DD!!

I am just popping in to put my layout up for a challenge over at CHARMS CREATIONS ON FACEBOOK which is to scraplift one of the amazing designers for Charms Creations..  well after having a look around I decided to scraplift Katy Howards layout. It interested me as while it may be a simple design it is a really lovely layout..

I have used a chevron here and a tiny doiley from Charms Creations..

I have popped a map marker above my photo on top of a doiley..

How are you on this lovely evening? It has been trying to rain here, so keeping hopes up that more is on the way!

I have been a little busy visiting my Grand baby and her family so I had better put up the July challenge for
C.S.I. Casefile #257  which is another fabulous one and is open until the end of the month.. and again, I am guesting as part of the Design Team for Scrapmatts! and it is,
You can scroll to the bottom of the post for more clues and inspiration for your layout.  I have used the colors, wood grain paper, flowers, leaves, banner, string, quadrant design, and tiny brads.. I have documented something about summer..

flowers, leaves, and a shell lightly swiped with gesso..

The banner is made from Scrapmatts chipboard flags which I put through my embossing machine and then lightly swiped with gesso to bring up the textures..

I have used a photo of my DD when she was at the beach.. sigh..  it seems like a long time since we have been on a holiday, but one day it will be our time again!

KRAFT+ July - Warp and Weave!

Hello there, are you ready for July?  I can hardly believe we are in the last half of the year..... how scary is that??!!!

And with the new month comes the new challenges and this month for KRAFT+ July Challenge I hope you will have some fun and join in with the fabulous challenge of.....
Weaving!! Lets see some weaving on your layout on Kraft of course.. now make sure if you havent already, check out the creations from the design team.. so many ideas and inspiration!!
