123 CHALLENGE BLOG - September reveal.

Hello there,
How has your day been?  I hope it has been a good one for you..
I am very late in getting this months challenge up for the 123 CHALLENGE BLOG and it is another fabulous challenge.. and it is..

 We are to use the 3 colors as the main colors, the sketch and the 2 words or say how the 2 words have inspired your layout..  There has been a bit of a problem with the linky thingy so now if you can just pop your layout over on the 123 CHALLENGE BLOG FACEBOOK PAGE here

and my layout...  I was inspired by the words awesome advice and it is to get lots of Vitamin Sea!!

I have used the beautiful Mintay papers for my layout...

And there is my awesome advice!! You can never get too much vitamin sea!

That is pretty good advice.. and just looking at the photos makes my heart sad.. you see on Friday we had to say good bye to our little Cindy, the little white doggie.. She had a cancer grow on her tummy and we got that taken off earlier this year, but another one grew back after that.. We wanted Cindy to get to her 15th Birthday which was a week ago, and then we made the heart wrenching decision... But she had a great life, and even had a beach holiday with us, so there are so many happy memories that I am going to have to get me through..and I guess that is why I scrapbook...

KRAFT+ - September - Red, black and white!!

Hello there, and welcome to spring in my land... September...how did this happen!!???
Well a new month brings new challenges to get our scrapping mojo going!!
The new challenge for KRAFT+ September is this fabulous board..

 How cool is this graphic!!?? Red, black and white look so good together, and put it all on Kraft looks Xtra good!!

I have used the patterned Kraft papers for my layout, Kaisercraft papers, a Martha Stewart border punch and a bow die.. These colors look great together, so do my Girls!!

ANNA"S CRAFT CUPBOARD INSPIRATION CHALLENGE August.

Hello there,
How are you going? Keeping up with the days that are flying by ever so quickly!!!??  I am not sure what I am doing but the days seem to be galloping away on me!!
I have managed to get a layout done the last few days for ANNA"S CRAFT CUPBOARD for August  which is a really pretty mood board that looks like..

Well I saw pretty pink and happiness and found a photo of my DD and I thought the Magenta Collection from Kaisercraft was perfect for my layout..

I used a die from Kaisercraft and cut out three die cuts and placed them around my page.. I used the stamp from the collection and stamped several flowers and fussy cut them out and layered them around my page also..  some mesh and plasterers tape for some added texture..

This quote was perfect !! I put a few drops of Kindy Glitz in the centre of the flowers for some dimension and sparkle!!

Happiness looks good on you!!

It seemed to take me a while to get going but once I started this page came together quickly.. I am trying to stop overthinking things.. and just stick it down!!! hehe!! I love this photo of my DD!!
Thanks Annas Craft Cupboard for a great challenge to get me creating.. I really really need to get into my scraproom more!! ( the ironing can wait.. !!!)

KRAFT+ - August - Inspired by Nursery Rhymes!!

Hello August!!
Wow is this year flying by or what!!!???

CELEBR8 Creating.

Thanks for coming on by!! I hope this finds you well..

Last June I went to the Craft Show at Brisbane and I was really lucky to receive a pack from KERRIE GURNEY which was full of an amazing range called Bold and Brave. from CELEBR8.

Life has been a bit busy here, but I have managed to create two layouts using this range. They came together well as the papers and Chipboard in the pack are co-ordinated so well..

The first layout is using a photo of my son..  and I shall share some closer views.

There are lots of elements to fussy cut and layer.. A little spray of mist on the back ground for some texture.. The chipboard was painted roughly with black gesso..

How cool is that denim pocket fussy cut and lifted up with some old cardboard.

I love the texture of the brick wall paper and gears are always a winner on a male layout...

The second layout is using a photo of my Hubby and Son..

I have used a selection of Chipboard and painted them in navy blue..

I really do like the chipboard that was in the pack.. and with some left over paint I added some paint flicks.

The only thing from my stash has been the paint and gesso and adhesives.. and there is lots left in the pack.

KRAFT + July Challenge - Bollywood!!

sooo my take on this months challenge..

For a while I was stuck, I was not sure on how I was going to create my layout, however I knew which photo I wanted to use.. so I started going through my papers to see if something inspired me... and yes I found these old Graphic 45 papers and went with them.. doing lots of fussy cutting and adding some bling as per the mood board..

 I have used some really old bling that I have had in my stash for a long time, so it was good to use them on this page..

MORE THAN WORDS : June 2019 Challenge.

Thanks for coming by today.. I hope your day is going well..
I have managed to get a little scrapping done for this months challenge over at MORE THAN WORDS which is a fabulous one again this month and it is...

 well scraplift myself and be inspired by the word 'favourite'.  I found one of my favourite layouts and I dont think I have even shared this one on my blog before and I used that for my layout to scraplift and I have used lots of dies on my page, and I love to use dies, they are one of my favourite things to use on my layouts.. so I hope that is a good way to be inspired by the word 'favourite'!!

This is my layout that I have used for inspiration to scraplift..

There is lots I love about this layout, the photo for a start, my daughter and our old horse Bess who is no longer with us, and the simple strips of paper, a hint of texture and color on the back ground and the die cut pieces around the page too..

And I have used one of my favourite border punches too..
