I was just pottering around and thought I would just get one more challenge layout done and I chose to do the one for SHOW US YOUR STUFF... which is
to use handwriting on your layout and one hand made embellishment..We had an enjoyable day on Sunday and I got some lovely photos of my DD and I just wanted to scrap one of them.. It is of her standing near the flag of her birth country.. I always want her to be proud of where she came from and I just wanted to put some thoughts down for her to read each time she looks at this layout..
some closer views..
flowers stamping, bling..
Love these hearts from CHARMS CREATIONS !
Believe in yourself..
My hand written journalling was done on paper and then cut in strips.. and then attached to my layout..
And a new card sketch has gone up over at CARDABILITIES #128 and it is the sweetest sketch I think!!
The sponsor for this month is SAMI STAMPS who have an amazing array of digital stamps and the design team were lucky to get an image to use on our cards.. I chose to use a lovely rose vine stamp.. Be sure to follow Cardabilities on FACEBOOK HERE..... You just might be a feature!!
And the sketch..
How sweet is that sketch? And my card..
I printed off the rose vine and colored it with water color before fussy cutting it out for my card.. You can link up your cards and see what the design team have created HERE!!Thanks so much for coming by and thank you too for any comments, I do love reading them...

and I just happened to make Christmas cards... yes I know a bit scary to be thinking about Christmas but by the way this year is flying by it wont take long until we flip over to December..
and I was inspired by the bottom middle picture of the red roses and created my layout using the colors.. I have used a really really old piece of Prima fabric paper I am pretty sure I have had for maybe 5 years?? Perhaps some of you will remember it?? It has the stitching on it and I have been wondering how I could use it without covering up the beautiful design.. well I have finally used it!!

How lovely that is! and my card..
I love all the layers! I stuck closely to the sketch for the foundation of my layout..

and my card... I used doiley dies instead of the square elements on the card....

Such a pretty sketch..

The colors of fluro, the word KIND on your layout somewhere, and some ribbon.. and my example..
