October Challenges

 Welll Hellooo! and once again the month has simply flown by and I am scratching my head as to what I have actually done this month.. Well I have done a fair bit, but just not in my scrap room.. although I did spend some time tidying up some shelves, yes and culling some old stuff that I dont use any more as my style has changed and I dont use those things any more..It does look better, but alas it took away my scrapping time.. so there is always next month... hahahaha...!!!

I do have 2 layouts that I have completed for 2 challenges..

The first one is for SOUL SCRAPPERS ON Facebook and it is for the Mystery challenge which is to scrap a sporting event or memory..Humm I have some lovely photos of my Grandie who is involved in Cheer leading.. a sport that requires a lot of skill.. She gets put up on others shoulders etc.. so I used a photo of her on my layout..

The papers are quite busy so the embellishing is a bit different that what I usually do.. 

Cheer

As this months challenges are being sponsored by Charms Creations I used a sparkly star on my layout.. and just some swirly die cuts and stars, and printable fussy cut flowers..  a bit different from my usual layout, but ok I think.. 

The second layout is for the challenge over at THE HUT CREATIVE on Facebook and it is to incorporate numbers on your creation.. Well I have used a number stencil with texture paste, number stamps, and fussy cut numbers and numbers on my embellishments... I hope that is enough!!!

Family time

I had fun doing this one!! and thank you to the talented people who create printables that we can use freely...I think some of the ones I have used are from Rock your World printables that are really funky and colorful and I love em!

Well a short post this time, as I am sure we are all starting to gear up for the busy time of the year.. It can be a bit hectic, and also a bit difficult for others.. where there has been loss, that loss is certainly felt at this time of the year..so lets all just be a bit more kinder as this year quickly comes around..
