Hello there,
How are things with you? We have had more beautiful rain and the place is sooo green now! The weekends will be spent on the mower for sure!!

I came across the Mini Challenge for Annas Craft Cupboard which can be found HERE on FACEBOOK and it is to use PUNCHES! Well one of the first things I bought at a scrap shop was the Retro flower punch and since then my assortment of punches has grown.. They are one of my go to things to use to create embellishments on my layouts and cards.. so I thought I would join in with this challenge!! I have used several punches for my page..

some closer views..

One of my oldest punches would be this Martha Steward Butterfly punch.. and the Half Daisy edge punch is another one of my favourites... in fact this is my second punch, my first one broke, and when I took it apart it was just worn out!!! So I was so very happy to get another one from Tania who was having a sale of old scrap stuff.. I hope I dont wear this one out as I have learnt they aren't making this punch anymore..

I have used 3 different edge punches, the retro daisy punch and the heart punch which have the words paper shapers on them.. not sure of the brand.. maybe Fiskers?? A leaf punch and a rounded corner punch!

and my layout..

I enjoyed getting out some of my favourite punches for this layout!!

Thanks so much for dropping on by, and thank you too for the lovely comments you leave me to read.. enjoy the rest of this week!!

Lindy’s Stamp Gang is the creative” baby” of Lindy Plakinger. She passed away in 2008 after bravely battling illness. She was a self-made cartoonist, loved drawing, crafting, designing new products, and creating her funny cartoon characters! One of her greatest joys was traveling to stamping and scrapbooking conventions across the US, demo-ing to her heart’s content with her sister, and giggle partner, Vicki! Lindy’s Stamp Gang will continue, as was her hope, and dream. Her husband and daughter have taken over the company keeping her creativity alive. Tracey, (her daughter), has always been a “jar filler” in the background of Lindy’s Stamp Gang, but is now trying to fill some incredible shoes!

How are you today? I am so pleased to say we had have about 60mills this past week and the difference if has made to the lawn is remarkable! and it has made things a bit cooler too...  so glad for the rain!

I would like to share my DT layout for this months challenge for THE 123 CHALLENGE BLOG which uses colors I rarely use together, but an interesting combination together.. and it is..

To use these 3 colors mostly, be inspired by the sketch, and use the words "Beautiful You".

And my take.. some closer views.

I have used a lot of old papers and embellishments, which is good I guess!

Beautiful you..
All the stencils and chipboard is from Scrapmatts!

And the challenge for KRAFT+ is another fabulous one and it is..
To use Kraft base and clear elements.. something see through... You can check out the inspiration from the designers and link up your entry over on the KRAFT+ blog!!

And my layout.. As soon as I saw this challenge I remembered I had some backing from some Prima flowers that I had kept thinking that maybe one day I will use them... so they were perfect for this challenge.. I had one with words and one with doileys, so I used both of them, fussy cutting out the doileys... and some closer views first..

I have used some Lemoncraft papers which I have fussy cut out some of the flowers.

You can see the fussy cut doileys I have used as well as the words. The chipboard is pretty old embossed in pink and the other white die cuts are from dies.
I hope you have found these challenges get you inspired in your creating this month..  And yes I am just shaking my head at how we got to be in October already... I just hope we all have some creative time for ourselves in the busyness of each day!

Thanks for coming by and thanks so much for the lovely comments you leave me too..
Have a great day!
