What's in the Bickie Tin & Papercraft Secrets March Sketch.

Hello there!
I hope this finds you well.. Whats happening in your part of the woods? I am in a kind of self isolation, with my hubby and daughter.. only going out if absolutely necessary..mainly for food or appointments for my parents.. This virus is nasty, and I pray we can get a handle on the spread soon, and if it means I stay home.. well I will enjoy the slower pace at home for as long as it takes.. and that means I do have more time for creating! Now finding the mojo.... that is another story!!! hehe! But a challenge is always a good way to help begin a layout!

I have once again created a page for the challenge over at WHATS IN THE BICKIE TIN over on facebook and this month it is to.

Have the color pink,
some paint and some hand writing..

and some closer views on my page..

I have used a really old Prima vine on my layout.. its a good time to use up older stash..

I wrote my journaling on some paper and cut it out as writing on this textured cardstock gets a bit untidy! The paint part of the challenge is the green on the back ground.. Thanks to Mary for the fabulous die cut too..

Wildflower..

My darling Grandie outside exploring!  Thanks Whats in the Bickie Tin for another wonderful challenge to get me creating!!

Another layout I have created is for the March Challenge for PAPERCRAFT SECRETS on facebook which is a lovely sketch.. I love sketches, they take the hard work out of the design for a layout..
I rotated the sketch once clockwise to suit my photo.. This is the sketch..

and some closer views of my layout..

I was also inspired by the butterflies in the sketch..

Friends..

I have used the Blessed paper collection from Kaisercraft for my layout.. Thanks Papercraft Secrets for a great sketch to use for my layout..

Well thanks for coming on by.. I do hope you are well and safe and together we will get through this..
Creating is a great way to keep our minds occupied and I believe it helps with stress also..
take care..
until next time..

  1. These are STUNNING! I love love love the photos, the colors, and the flowers on both!!!! And it is crazy here too -- I still have to go to work everyday, and so does Adam, but Brian and Brookie are home.

  2. Hi Lizzy! Good to see you are keeping well. We are also self isolating and only going out for necessities. Not even visiting with our kids and that is really hard, but we are keeping in touch on the phone. Life has certainly changed but we have to stay positive.
Love your gorgeous pages Lizzy! Your grandie is such a darling and you have created such a beautiful page around her photo. Love the flower vine and the frame too. I also love the photo of your DD and fur baby. Another stunning page with beautiful colour and embellishments.
Take care and stay well Lizzy. Blessings to you and your family! hugs xx
