Howdi! Well here I am once again racing against the days to get my layouts up and entered into the 3 challenges I have created for this month.. The days fly by and then the weeks and then before I know it, another month is just around the corner..soooo I would love to share the layouts I have created with you.
The first one is for Soul Scrappers on Facebook and it is for the
The letters we had to choose from for our title word are B,I or C.. after much thinking I went with the Word Cherish as I have used an older photo of my Grandie and I when she was very little..

I have found on Facebook groups that offer printables and I have been saving them to my computer and all the flowers on this page are printables, that I have fussy cut out, so thank you to the creators of them, I am sorry I dont remember the names, and I do not claim to have created them myself, but I am thankful to those clever and generous people who create the images and share them for others to use..
Cherish
These are very old papers which most of my papers are, I have a little bit of stencilling on the back ground to add a bit of interest.. layers and some die cut leaves and punched edges.. Love this sweet photo of my grandie sleeping on me, very precious..
The second layout is for the challenge over at Whats in the Bickie Tin on Facebook and it is..
Well I loved this challenge!! Flowers and foliage!! I began this layout a bit differently, by doing some weaving using strips of paper. Then I did a bit of stencilling and used some spray. Then I put my photo down and layered around it and added my flowers and foliage.. again using fussy cut printables..
Again using old papers and new printables!
Hello Beautiful
I have used a mix of blue colors inspired by the photo of my Grandie.. This was fun to create, something different and I got to use older papers up.. I just might try the weaving again on a layout sometime!!
And the third layout is for the challenge over at Black Magic Sketches on Facebook and it is...
To use the sketch and at least two of the colors on black cardstock base... I have used the butter yellow and the smokey blue colors.. I have rotated the sketch once anti clock wise..
a closer view..
I just love a bit of stencilling on the black background! and the flowers were fussy cut from Kaisercraft papers, that are pretty old also..
Fun times.
Thats my grandies hanging off the gate watching the horse in the paddock.. I loved the sketch this month so thank you Black Magic Sketches!
Well thanks for dropping by and taking a look at what I have been creating this month.. I hope you can pop over to the challenges and while you may not get to join in this month, there are challenges waiting to go up for next month.. If you are like me and just having a quiet Easter then I reckon some creating might be a pleasant way to spend the weekend.. Whatever you are up to, I hope you take the time to remember just what the days of Easter are about.. and if you dont have any belief, then I can only pray that in time you will..
Do take care in these uncertain and difficult times.. I hope you keep safe and well... until next time..
