Hello there,
How is your day going? It is breezy here and quite warm.. and oh so dry.. I do hope there is rain on the horizon soon..
Well I have surprised myself and had a go at the Cyber Crop happening over on WHITE WITH ONE CHALLENGES ON FACEBOOK and I have created for the 3 challenges..
The first one is to use the color of your choice and scrap about a childhood memory.. The photo I went with was in my pile of photos so I went with that... hehe.. and it is a photo of my brothers and sisters and I at the beach around 1968 I am guessing.. and the color I used is a sea blue..
a couple of closer views..
I have stencilled on the back ground using a Kaisercraft stencil. I have used a few dies too!
And as you may have guessed the blondie on the right side is me!!
The second challenge is to use Purple, chipboard, flowers, ink/stamping and some bling..
a couple of closer views.
The chipboard I have used is a Dusty Attic brand which I embossed with a sparkly purple. I have stamped on the back ground with a couple of stamps.. and dabbed some paint on as well..
The flowers are 49 and Market and the bling is from my stash that I have had for years and years!!!!
Lovely Moment.
This is an older photo of my youngest!!
And challenge three is to use Gold and white and a black and white photo.. I was quite surprised at how much gold stuff I had!!
some closer views.
Gold is hard to photograph, it tends to look brown.. but I assure you this is all gold embellies!! I had made some flowers too..
Cherish Moments.
My grandie when she was smaller!!
Thanks so much White With One for the inspiration.. I made myself scrap these and I am glad I have..
Thank you for dropping in today, and thank you to those who leave a little comment.. It is nice to know you dropped by and the comments are appreciated..
take care..
until next time..

ReplyDeleteWow Lizzy! These pages are stunning!! You met the criteria on each Challenge beautifully but I must say the last one is my fave. Might have something to do with the adorable photo! LOL!
ReplyDeleteMight have to send you some of our rain. We are still having quite wild and unpredictable weather. It feels like we're back in winter. Would you believe our mid-north actually had snow!!!! Hopefully it will start to settle down again soon. Have a fabulous weekend Lizzy! hugs xx
These are all GORGEOUS! LOVING that photo on the first one and love love love the colors on these!!!!
ReplyDeleteGosh..you do monochromatic so well! These are just gorgeous!!!
ReplyDeleteOh well done entering the cyber crop - sometimes they allow our minds to take a different direction. I love the sixties photo at the beach, don't you all look adorable? The blues and the marine elements are perfect for a beach page. Purple always looks great on your daughter. I especially like the way you treated the chipboard. Then you little Grand Girl has a gorgeous gilded page - she's adorable on the heart shape. Lovely, lovely work. I hope that's enticed Mr Mojo to get cracking!. We are having some Spring days here and enjoying getting into the garden.
ReplyDeleteFantastic layouts, Lizzy! We are finally getting some beautiful Autumn weather here. I love this time of year!
ReplyDeleteLove your take on each of the cyber crops. All three are stunning. I loved all three photos as well, they really worked with the page. It is really hard to pick a favorite from them but if I have to I'm going with the first one - Summer Memories. Love the colour you chose. The dies you have used are awesome and I think I will have to have a look around for the lighthouse and shells. I love them so much on your page. Wonderful work with them all though. xxx
