WHITE WITH ONE May Challenge & SCRAPMATTS MAY Creating..

Hello there!
How has your week been going? It is a bit grey here in the sky and hoping there is rain on the way, perhaps tomorrow!! That would be very welcome!!

I havent been doing much scrapping lately, I seem to be out in the garden more, which is good.. Most of the time is spent watering stuff.. so hoping we do get some lovely rain soon!!

I did create a layout for the challenge over at WHITE WITH ONE BLOGSPOT which is such a pretty color again this month.. and it is..

 

I was inspired by the left photo of the flowers and I did some stencilling on the back ground trying to be similar to that..

and some closer views..

Lots of die cuts and I used an old border punch too. and stamped the flowers and colored them with the water color I used on the back ground..

lovely.

It was good to get some dies out that I haven't used before on this layout.. Thanks White with One for another lovely color to use this month..  You can check out the design Team and the other layouts over on the WHITE WITH ONE FACEBOOK PAGE ..

WHATS IN THE BICKIE TIN - May Challenge..

Hello there! How are you on this fine day? I hope your week is off to a great start! I hope all the Mums have been shown how much they are loved on Mothers day! It was a good day for me, catching up with my Mum and Dad, and my MIL and FIL as well as catching up via chat with my children..

I have been scrapping! A bit of a slow start scrapping wise for me this month, but I hope that will change!!

The May challenge for WHATS IN THE BICKIE TIN is another lovely one that I enjoyed creating for.. and it is..

To use the color GREEN
Add some string
Use a stencil / mask..

and some closer views.

Green, some string on my tags and stencilling on the back ground!!

I used one of these old Kaisercraft bling flowers on my page.. that would have to be years old!!!

I have used a photo of my Grandie when she was only days old.. how cute she is there!! Thanks Whats in the Bickie Tin for another lovely challenge..  I am off to pop this on their FACEBOOK PAGE !!

KRAFT+ & the 123 CHALLENGE BLOG Challenges for May!

Hi there!
Well I have taken a couple of days to get into the feel of things for May!! The weather has taken a turn for some cooler days and I did make some chicken soup to warm us up!!!

I am sharing the challenges for Kraft+ and the 123 Challenge blog and hopefully if you get some time it would be great it you could join in with us this month!

The challenge for KRAFT+ is another one I enjoyed and it is...

 to use paper cuts, i.e. fussy cutting!! Now I love to fussy cut so I loved creating for this challenge.. but if you go over to the KRAFT+ BLOG Here!!!  you will see the inspiration from the Design Team and you may just get some ideas to get you creating.. and then you can pop over to KRAFT+ COMMUNITY PAGE on FACEBOOK where you can share your creation for us all to see!!

and now my layout..

I cut out everything by hand except the doiley.. The lollipop flowers were circles cut out and layered with a button popped on top.. the leaves were hand drawn and cut out as were the banner pieces.

 To be inspired by the sketch, to use the two words "Memory Lane" and primarily the three colors.. and this month it is black grey and white..

Oh that photo!!! taken in 1989!! I am not going to say anymore on that!! hehe!!
