Well here we are ... December... let that sink in... December... hehe.. naaa i cant believe it!

And so a new month.. new challenges.. last ones for the year....  (naaa still cant believe it!!!)

The challenge over at ARCHISCRAPS is to use cogs/gears on your creation...
How cool is that photo??  anyhooo I made two cards.. and used lots of
Scrapmatts chippies...  and they are...

I have colored the cogs with black and brown ink pads.. easy!!

and the challenge over at the 123 CHALLENGE BLOG is such a lovely one..  and different interpretations too from the designers..
To use silver as a color, the word believe and layers...
and some closer views of my layout..

I love that gorgeous chippie from Scrapmatts covered in glitter glue..

Another lovely chippie from Scrapmatts - this star...

Believe

I enjoyed this challenge criteria and you can see all the other inspiration and link up HERE!!!!

Thanks so much for coming on by,  I know we are all so busy this time of the year!! My DD has finished school for the year, and at the moment I have my hubby in hospital, for the second time. He has been battling cellulitis in his hand and finger for a month now... He has had 3 surgeries and there will be one more..  We sure hope and pray he is on the mend really soon..   So each comment last month was really appreciated and so many friends have lifted my spirits greatly..  We all have seasons of mountains and valleys. In the valleys we learn so much and on the mountains we appreciate so much..   so thank you dear friends...

Thanks so much for any comments, it is nice to know you have dropped by!!

  4. Yes, It's December and we all step up a gear! So much to do before that special day. I'm sorry your husband is struggling with his health, it's a worry when it seems to be recurring. I love the cog cards, always handy to have ready to go for the blokes in our lives. Your silvery layout is magical - I love the treatment of the chippies especially the sparkly bits. Thanks for the inspiration :D

  7. Fab masculine card with all the cogs and the layout oh so pretty. Beautiful chipboard pieces and look lovely in the glitter. Gorgous photo of your girl , scrapped beautifully. Hope your husband is on the mend asap Lizzy. Funny you should mention Mountains and Valleys Lizzy, I had a thought the other week in bed about Mountains and Valleys, had to get up , find a pen and write it down so I wouldn't forget it and plan to put it on a layout :)
Enjoy your weekend, I hope it is not too hectic
