SKETCHY BOARDS EASTER CHALLENGE.

I hope you have had a lovely weekend.. I am just popping my layout on here that I created for the challenge over at SKETCHY BOARDS ON FACEBOOK which is to create an Easter layout..

I have used papers from the Full Bloom collection from Kaisercraft which I thought suited these soft colors..

WHITE WITH ONE - Pretty in Pink challenge..

Hello there,
back again with another layout I have created for this months challenge for WHITE WITH ONE which is such a gorgeous color this month and it is..
 I enjoyed creating with this color and I had a really lovely photo of my Grandie which I have used for my layout.. There is also a sketch to use if wanted for inspiration, and I have based my page (loosely) on this sketch..

Lots of die cuts, layers and that flower is soo old, I think it is an old Manor House flower!!

ANNAS CRAFT CUPBOARD MOOD BOARD APRIL..

Hello there,
so nice you have come by, I am sure your days are busy and your weeks are flying by just like mine!!

I have managed to get a layout created inspired by the fabulous mood board challenge for
ANNAS CRAFT CUPBOARD ON FACEBOOK which looks like..

and I was so inspired by the doileys and I have also used the quote too on my layout..

I have used a few die cut doileys on my page.. and some fussy cutting..

I have used a Kaisercraft doiley stencil for some texture on the back ground..

Thanks so much for your visit, I cant believe that half of April is gone already..  I hope you have a Blessed Easter whatever you are up to..  It may just be some time off  for you, but for me, it is the whole reason I believe in God and in His Son Jesus and the remembrance of the cross,  the penalty paid for my sin, that we all might come experience Gods saving grace..

KRAFT+ - APRIL - Alice In Wonderland!

A pinch and a punch for the 1st of April... no kidding!!!!
March just flew by, so I hope we get a bit more time in April!!

I was inspired by the colors of the big picture and also that interesting painted back ground which I tried to copy on the background of my page...

This is what my back ground looked like before I started to embellish it with papers and flowers..

I must admit I may have gone a bit nuts with the flowers, but let me say I used up a lot of half empty packets on this page!!!

I hope you get some creative time this month, I am finding I have to be very deliberate in making time to get away and create, other wise my days are taken up with all that other stuff we do during the days!!

C.S.I. - Color,Stories, Inspiration #276

Thanks for coming by today.. I trust your week is off to a great start.. Cant believe we have one week of March left and then it will be April.. My days are busy, and I am sure you are probably keeping busy too!
I have challenged myself to get two challenges done each month, just to make myself make time for creating, otherwise I feel I would just be slack and not get any thing done.. so again I have joined in with C.S.I. - Color, Stories, Inspiration #276 which looks like..

I have used the colors and have also used from the evidence - dots, stripes, clouds, sun, ribbons/bows, string, buttons pinwheels and i have created a patchwork on my page too..

I made some flowers and put buttons in the centres of them also.

I love this drooly photo of my Grandie, those toothy pegs were giving her some trouble before they popped through!! Such old papers on this page too, but so glad to use them..

ANNA'S CRAFT CUPBOARD MARCH SKETCH..

Hello there,
my goodness I didn't realize how long it has  been since I last blogged, and yes since I last scrapped too.. my days are busy at the moment, with my daughter working two jobs, I feel like a taxi driver, who at time feels a bit overwhelmed by all the traveling I seem to be doing... but there is light at the end of this tunnel....  the hours are getting up for the learners permit, and I am looking forward to some one getting themselves to work some day with their own car and licence... and then... perhaps a little more time for myself... sigh...  sooo I just HAD to hide away and get some scrapping done.. and when I feel lacking in mojo the best thing is a sketch.. so I found the March sketch for ANNA'S CRAFT CUPBOARD - HERE and forgot the housework and did some creating..

So I thought there was a bit of mixed media on the back ground and for the circle element I used a heart instead...

I have used a lovely Charms Creations heart in this cluster..  I am also using up flowers I have had for years and years.. the big green one I have had for such a long time..  so glad to pop it on this page..

and that orange flower... way old!!!

And of course what could be better than using a photo of my Grandie on my page to get the creative juices going!! hehe!! This photo was taken after Christmas..  such a cutie..

KRAFT+ - MARCH - Metallics and Jewells!

Hello March!! February went in the blink of an eye and here we are putting up the new challenge for a new month!! It is another fabulous one for KRAFT+ and it is...

 To use metallics and jewells...  or metal embellishments and bling!!! You can pop your creation over on the KRAFT+ FACEBOOK COMMUNITY PAGE HERE!!!

I found an old necklace when I was looking around for some old jewelry

to use and thought I would use that as well as metal flowers and the bling is in the center of some other flowers I have used on my page..

And I love this photo of my DD, she is so grown up now...

Thanks for dropping on by, I hope this is a great month for you..  February was a very hot month here, but it had some wonderful highlights for our family..  One of them being my Grand Daughter turned one year old! We got an ice cream cake and got the camera out hoping for some fun cake smash photos but she was so dainty and just put her finger in the ice cream and didn't make a mess at all!! hehe.. perhaps next year she will be all over it!!!

DUSTY ATTIC MOOD BOARD - February

Hello there,
How is your monday?  It is a little cooler here with a breeze, but still oh so very dry..
I am just popping up my layout for this months challenge over at DUSTY ATTIC BLOG which is a fabulous mood board which looks like...
 So off I went to find papers that matched these colors and some Dusty Attic chippies, and  I have used a lovely photo of my DD..

A closer look at the Vine Border colored with gel pens.

I have used two Elegant Swirls which were colored with brown ink with pops of Kindy Glitz.

I used a ATC Frame with my title from the Word tags #2.

Lovely.!

I have used a mix of flowers on my page.. and the papers are some oldies as well!!Thanks to
DUSTY ATTIC  for the inspiration for my layout.

C.S.I. Color, Stories, Inspiration #273

Hello there,
How are you on this pleasant Saturday night? Well I hope.
This next layout I am sharing has been sitting on my scrap desk for nearly two weeks.. I just havent been able to get in and finish it, but today I did..
It is for the challenge over at C.S.I. : Color, Stories, Inspiration #273 which looks like
  I have used the topic of documenting about the one you love, and for the testimony I have used paint, wreath, woodgrain, jars, flowers, ribbon, hearts, metal and distressing. I have used a photo of my Darling Grand daughter as she is someone I love so very dearly! (And the photo matched the colors which I have used on my layout!!)

I started my page with patting some water color paint around the back ground. when that was dry I began creating..

KRAFT+ - February .

Hello there,
wow I am sorry I am a bit late for this post for the new challenge for KRAFT+ - February but I have had computer problems again.. but... hopefully it is fixed now..
This month our inspiration is to come from Books, ones you have read, or simply use book pages on your creation..
  I was just simply inspired to use old book pages as embellishments for my page.. I have been to lifeline when they had a massive book sale and got a carton of old books and I have used pages from one of those.. generally speaking I love books and would not wreck them so these old pages have graced my layout..

and I just had to use a Charms Creations book page heart in the cluster on my page..

I also glued some papers strips on the back ground and then stenciled over it and lightly painted gesso to soften the look..

Today.
