ARCHISCRAPS & 123 CHALLENGE BLOG DECEMBER...

Well here we are ... December... let that sink in... December... hehe.. naaa i cant believe it!

And so a new month.. new challenges.. last ones for the year....  (naaa still cant believe it!!!)

The challenge over at ARCHISCRAPS is to use cogs/gears on your creation...
How cool is that photo??  anyhooo I made two cards.. and used lots of
Scrapmatts chippies...  and they are...

I have colored the cogs with black and brown ink pads.. easy!!

and the challenge over at the 123 CHALLENGE BLOG is such a lovely one..  and different interpretations too from the designers..
To use silver as a color, the word believe and layers...

Thanks so much for coming on by,  I know we are all so busy this time of the year!! My DD has finished school for the year, and at the moment I have my hubby in hospital, for the second time. He has been battling cellulitis in his hand and finger for a month now... He has had 3 surgeries and there will be one more..  We sure hope and pray he is on the mend really soon..   So each comment last month was really appreciated and so many friends have lifted my spirits greatly..  We all have seasons of mountains and valleys. In the valleys we learn so much and on the mountains we appreciate so much..   so thank you dear friends...

MY CREATIVE SKETCHES - November..

A big Hello there! How is your day going? I am sitting here listening to beautiful rain on our roof and the faraway rumble of thunder... a lovely way to end a very hot sticky day!!

I have created a layout using the sketch from MY CREATIVE SKETCHES which looks like..
As well I have used some beautiful embellishments from the Kit Vintaj Romance from FUNKY FLAIR STUDIO that I won last month.  The kit looks like.
A really beautiful kit, I was so excited to win it.  I have used something from the kit on each square on the layout...

 The beautiful die cut roses and a simply gorgeous flair.. Those sweet  little flowers were in the kit too!

Another pretty flair.. Funky Flair are known for their amazing and beautiful flair.

I enjoyed this sketch and I really enjoyed using bits from the kit.. sadly the kit is unavailable at the moment..
But there are lots of beautiful flair over at the FUNKY FLAIR STUDIO .

Well by my calculations, it is one month until Christmas Day!!! How are your plans going? I just know it wont feel very long until we are sitting together and celebrating this special season..

WHITE WITH ONE - November..

Good Morning! I hope your monday is off to a great start.. The days are flying by, I am just holding on!! ( p.s. I just noticed the calendar in my scrap room is still on September...hehe!!)

Anyhooo!! I have a layout I have created for this months WHITE WITH ONE which is a very pretty blue..
I have tried to match it with my water colors and some papers I found in my stuff.. I am trying very hard not to buy any new stuff so these color challenges are great to get in and dig deep to find something that has been buried for a while..

I have used lots of dies and some old chipboard alphas that are huge to use as a title but great for adding dimension to this layout..

more chipboard and I made a sweet little bow!! The photo is my Nephews son who is just one of the cutest sweetest little boys..

I love this adorable photo, so I guess that is why I enjoyed creating this page!!

C.S.I. : Color, Stories, Inspiration - Guest Designer Case File #218

Hello there,
I have been a Guest Detective this month for C.S.I. Color, Stories, Inspiration representing Scrapbook Fantasies.
This challenge now has a blog which I think makes it easier to follow..  And the challenge is..
I have used the colors. For the evidence I have used dots, weather elements (clouds) metal and circles.. For the testimony I have journalled about something outdoors i.e. time at the beach..

And my take...

Happiness.

My journalling describes our holiday we had this year at Coolum and the fun we had with our dogs, who enjoyed the beach walks too!!

Yes tis I with another layout to share with you! Yes I have surprised myself with completing another challenge!!

The challenge for D-LISH SCRAPS November is a fabulous color combo and I have been enjoying the JAP kits and have used mine on this layout as well as embellies from my D-Lish stash...

I love these colors together and have used them as well as the inspiration of feathers..

KRAFT + November Challenge..

Good day to you, I hope your day is going well..

How did we get to double digits in November so soon? Crazyyy!!  Anyhooo...

I am putting up this months challenge for KRAFT+ Out of the Closet.. 

 


 Yes another fabulous challenge to get us to take a look into our closet and be inspired by what we see!! hehe.. well my closet is a sea of blue, as that is my fav color, but I picked out a shirt that is one of my favorites, it is cool, comfortable, no iron and I wear it a lot.. and it looks like..

And I have used a photo of me wearing it !! I have been inspired by the colors - the blues and pops of pink, and also by all the branch type of design on it..  and my layout..

ARCHISCRAPS & SKETCHY BOARDS NOVEMBER.

And here we are in November...  sliding quickly into the last couple of months of 2016. The shops are now filling shelves with festive goodies trying to entice us all to start spending.... eek! let me off the merry go round!!
Well we can always just hide in our scrap spaces and create.. that makes it all better!! hehe!!

The new month brings new challenges in the scrap world!!

The challenge for ARCHI-SCRAPS might seem unusual but it really is quite easy!!
and it is to put something on an angle...
I have created two cards...  yes in a futile attempt to have hand made cards this Christmas I have created two Christmas cards with angle designs..

The papers are Kaisercraft and the chipboard is all from Scrapmatts.

The November challenge for SKETCHY BOARDS ON FACEBOOK is to be inspired either by both the sketch and the color palette or just one of them in an attempt to make it easier and get more participants..
