C.S.I. : Color, Stories, Inspiration - Guest Designer Case File #218

Hello there,
I have been a Guest Detective this month for C.S.I. Color, Stories, Inspiration representing Scrapbook Fantasies.
This challenge now has a blog which I think makes it easier to follow..  And the challenge is..
I have used the colors. For the evidence I have used dots, weather elements (clouds) metal and circles.. For the testimony I have journalled about something outdoors i.e. time at the beach..

And my take...

Happiness.

My journalling describes our holiday we had this year at Coolum and the fun we had with our dogs, who enjoyed the beach walks too!!

D-LISH SCRAPS November Inspiration Board Challenge..

Yes tis I with another layout to share with you! Yes I have surprised myself with completing another challenge!!

The challenge for D-LISH SCRAPS November is a fabulous color combo and I have been enjoying the JAP kits and have used mine on this layout as well as embellies from my D-Lish stash...

I love these colors together and have used them as well as the inspiration of feathers..

All the flowers are D-Lish.. Love the stunning metal peacock in the kit!!

I have also used a feather stencil with watercolors.

KRAFT + November Challenge..

Good day to you, I hope your day is going well..

How did we get to double digits in November so soon? Crazyyy!!  Anyhooo...

I am putting up this months challenge for KRAFT+ Out of the Closet.. 

 


 Yes another fabulous challenge to get us to take a look into our closet and be inspired by what we see!! hehe.. well my closet is a sea of blue, as that is my fav color, but I picked out a shirt that is one of my favorites, it is cool, comfortable, no iron and I wear it a lot.. and it looks like..

And I have used a photo of me wearing it !! I have been inspired by the colors - the blues and pops of pink, and also by all the branch type of design on it..  and my layout..

I have used the Cottage Rose papers from Kaisercraft and all the chipboard pieces are Scrapmatts.

ARCHISCRAPS & SKETCHY BOARDS NOVEMBER.

And here we are in November...  sliding quickly into the last couple of months of 2016. The shops are now filling shelves with festive goodies trying to entice us all to start spending.... eek! let me off the merry go round!!
Well we can always just hide in our scrap spaces and create.. that makes it all better!! hehe!!

The new month brings new challenges in the scrap world!!

The challenge for ARCHI-SCRAPS might seem unusual but it really is quite easy!!
and it is to put something on an angle...
I have created two cards...  yes in a futile attempt to have hand made cards this Christmas I have created two Christmas cards with angle designs..

The papers are Kaisercraft and the chipboard is all from Scrapmatts.

The November challenge for SKETCHY BOARDS ON FACEBOOK is to be inspired either by both the sketch and the color palette or just one of them in an attempt to make it easier and get more participants..

CREATIVE SCRAPPERS OCTOBER SKETCH..

Gidday! How has  your day been?  I have been baby sitting my nephews two little boys on a wednesday, so my day has been busy!!

I saw this fabulous sketch over at CREATIVE SCRAPPERS which uses 4 photos so I thought I would give it a go.. however I have missed the link up but I may as well share it with you anyways!!

 I have used some die cuts and some really old stickers in my clusters...

Lots of punched edges too.. more stickers in my cluster..

It was a good day..

I have used some really old papers on this and old stickers but I think it looks pretty ok!!! I just cant keep up with the days sometimes so if you know how to slow this crazy pace down then you have my permission to do so!!!

KAISERCRAFT OCTOBER CHALLENGE..

 here we are at the weekend again, the week has flown by yet again!

I have managed to do a layout for this months  KAISERCRAFT OCTOBER CHALLENGE which is a bingo card and we are to choose a row and use that criteria..
I have used the third row down across.. which is patterned paper only, clear stamp, flowers and gold..  all the papers are Kaisercraft with most from the Cottage Rose range, as well as some gold foil paper.

The flowers are fussy cut from the papers, lots of Kaisercraft stamps.

I love that Kaisercraft die.. and drops of Kaisercraft pink paint..

KRAFT + - Blast from the past!

I hope your day is going well....

I am just popping in to put up my layout for this months challenge over at KRAFT + which is another fabulous one that I enjoyed creating for... and it is..
A blast from the past.. to use at least one of the mentioned embellishments on your creation...  Well if you are like me... I have lots of stuff that could well be hummm how shall we say.... a bit dated!!! So I thought I would give this one a go!!

I have used brads, ric rac, ribbon, old papers, punches which I still love to use, and may I add to that fozz felt..  ohhh that is an old product...hehe...  and some old rub ons, and some old basic grey chipboard stickers... hehe...  and so my layout...

 Anyone remember this range from Basic Grey!!! hehe.. I have also used the backing from some prima flowers in there too... and I still like ric rac!

In this cluster I have two brads which I have used like flairs.. I took off the metal prong thingys and used a foam dot to hold them on my page..  and does anyone use the bling flourishes anymore?? hehe.. I still have a few.. I really should use them !!

Memories..

oh my even my photo is a blast from the past!! All dressed in our sunday best.. my sisters and I. .I am guessing the photo is about 1969...

What a great challenge KRAFT +, be sure to go and check it all out and dig up some of your old stuff and create something too!!

D-LISH SCRAPS OCTOBER Inspiration Board

How are you on this the second week of October already??

I am just popping up my layout for the October challenge for D-LISH SCRAPS which is a fabulous inspiration board and it looks like..
hummm now when I printed it out to have on my desk with my monthly challenges the greeny color was more of a teal so that is what I went with..  Perhaps next time I will use the image straight from my computer some how.. but not to worry..  I was inspired by the sketch and had a bit of creative fun doing the back ground.... I also used the JAP kit too from D-Lish Scraps.

I embossed the chipboard that was in the kit and used most of the kit on my layout..   This photo is a few years old now.. Wont be long and it will be time for more Christmas photos!!!
