ARCHISCRAPS & SKETCHY BOARDS AUGUST CHALLENGES...

Hello there,
Here we are in August..  somehow this year is going faster than I can keep up with! hehe!

With the new month come new challenges...

The first one I would like to share is for ARCHISCRAPS and it is to be inspired by this photo
and to use butterflies.. Now you can create a card, layout, OTP for this challenge.. 
I have created a little card for this challenge and it is..

Some lace, a doiley, some butterfly stickers and a little bow!! For more inspiration and to link up GO HERE!!!

And this months challenge for SKETCHY BOARDS ON FACEBOOK is an interesting one.. You can create pretty much anything that inspires you....and it is..

I was inspired to use just one row of the sketch..  I have used old Basic Grey papers for this and the chipboard pieces are various brands..

well I love the beach so I found a photo of my hubby sitting on some rocks at Mooloolaba and began creating..

I have used various papers and embellishments from Kaisercraft.. The netting is from a wash bag..

D-LISH SCRAPS JULY Inspiration Board..

A big Hello to you on this saturday evening for me! I hope your day is going well..

I have a layout I would like to share with you that I created for the D-LISH SCRAPS INSPIRATION BOARD JULY which looks like..We are to use the colors, the sketch is optional... but I used the sketch for my layout..  I have used some goodies from the D-Lish just add paper kit for this month as well as some other D-Lish goodies I have had in my stash..

I added some teeny tiny flowers to the hat in the photo..

All the embellishments except that burlap flower are from D-Lish Scraps.

I have used really old Basic Grey papers which suited the colors, a bit of stenciling on the back ground and some fussy cut flowers from the papers.. I love these photos of my Daughter!!

KAISERCRAFT JULY CHALLENGE..

I have created a layout for this months challenge for KAISERCRAFT which is a fabulous sketch and it looks like..
I have used papers from the Secret Garden collection, Kaisercraft rose and a leaf stencil, Kaisercraft Mists,  a Kaisercraft border die, Pearl strips, and Kaisercraft white sparkle paper..
And my layout...

 I have lifted some of the fussy cut roses with some old cardboard for dimension. The photo is of my Dd and her dear old cat Tiger who is no longer with us...

SHOW US YOUR STUFF - July..

Hello there,
Another weekend is nearly over and back to weekday stuff tomorrow..  I think a 3 day weekend would work well!! hehe!

I am just popping up my layout for this months challenge over at SHOW US YOUR STUFF which is this moodboard..
a wintery theme using these colors..and something hand made..  I found a photo that just went  well with the winter and colors theme and created this layout..

I actually raided my Christmas papers to find some with the winter theme!! I cut the snowflakes with a Kaisercraft die.. We dont get snow where I live, but it can get pretty cold.. So glad I took these photos of my DD a few years ago now..

MORE THAN WORDS - SMILE!

I would like to share my layout for the JULY CHALLENGE AT MORE THAN WORDS which is...
to use this sketch and the word SMILE! well I knew what photo I wanted to scrap and so I got creating and came up with this ....

 a close up of the cluster.. I have a Charms heart and a funky flair and flowers that have been in my stash for ages.. I am on a... use it or lose it... stash buster this year.. hehe..

Life is short, smile while you still have teeth!

This photo always makes me smile!! hehe! I have used the older range from Bo Bunny The Avenues, some dies and I used up those old orange flowers which I have had for years and years.. feels good to empty a packet.. !!

SCRAP THE GIRLS July..

I have been creating for a few challenges this last week or so, and today I would like to share a layout I have created for this months SCRAP THE GIRLS challenge which is a  sketch..
How fabulous is that?

 I have scrapped a photo of my DD and our old horse, who sadly is no longer with us, but the memories are and I am so glad I have taken a lot of photos over the years of our animals so we can remember them, not with sadness, but with happy memories..

That lovely flair is a FUNKY FLAIR with a mix of old flowers and newer ones..

I like that barbed wire die and the horse shoe die as well.....and my layout..

I have gone with lots of the orange color which I dont use very often so it was good to use this older Bo Bunny range of papers..

CSI CASE FILE NO.204 & The 123 CHALLENGE BLOG JULY..

Hello there,
I hope your day is going really well!

Last month the Design team for Scrapmatts were asked if we would like to Guest Design for CSI Case Files and so I have one more layout to show and this case file is open until July 8 so a few more days to join in with it. It is CASE FILE NO. 204  which is..
and we are to use all the colors, at least three of the evidence and one of the testimony. and my take on it.. I have used all the colors. I have used the damask pattern, polka dots, birds, bird cages, frame, flowers and lace.

I have used the inspiration word FREE for my title..

And the July challenge for the 123 CHALLENGE BLOG is up and running and I really loved this one.. and it is..
To use pastel colors, the word priceless and some glitter. I used glitter glue on my flowers..  and I loved using the pastel colors..  I have used a photo of my DD and a special dog who just adores her, so that love is priceless!!
