CHALLENGE YOUrself #79

Hello there,
Yes surprise! I have scrapped again!! This time it is for CHALLENGE YOUrself #79 - a Sketch and it looks like...

 I love sketches and so I sat and scrapped and have finished this layout in time..  I followed the sketch pretty closely and have used some older flowers on my layout.. so good to use up stuff..

These floral papers are so pretty, I am not sure of the brand but so happy with the end result.. The photo is of my DD and I at a photo booth at church on Mothers day a couple of years ago..

WHATS IN THE BICKIE TIN - JULY.

Hello there! How is your Sunday going..? We have had some rain this weekend.. not much. but very needed!!
I am just popping up my layout I have created this week for the challenge over at
WHATS IN THE BICKIE TIN for this month and it is...

To use Black and Blue,
some string,
a tag..

and some closer views..

I have used a really old Manor House flower vine.. I wont even try and guess how old it is!!!!

I have used navy blue papers and some stencilling on the back ground for a bit of texture

I made a string bow and tucked it under some flowers..

SCRAPMATTS CREATING FOR JULY..

Wow this week seems to have flown by for me.. how about you? Do you find the days going fast or are they a bit slower??

MORE THAN WORDS - July Main Challenge .

Hello there,
Thanks so much for dropping on by.. I hope things with you are doing well..

I am just popping up my layout that I created for this months challenge over at
MORE THAN WORDS  which is
 The word inspiration is Goodbye and the creative challenge is Monochromatic..  Well I straight away thought about my dear little doggie Cindy who we had to say goodbye to last year.. She was a fabulous little dog, quite sassy for her size. She got a lump on her tummy and we had that removed but more lumps came pretty quickly, and we had to made a decision.. keep getting surgeries or....... So we got her to 15 years old and then we had to say goodbye.. a very hard day and many tears have been shed since.. So I thought I would do a layout to remember her by.. not as easy as I thought.. I had to stop a few times to clear my eyes.. but I am glad I persevered.. and my layout...

I have used a really old Kaisercraft paper range..

123 CHALLENGE BLOG- July.Challenge..

Hello there!
Thanks for coming by! How is life on your part of the world? I do hope you are keeping well and safe..  Australia is not out of the woods yet with this virus, and I really hope it can be contained soon and things can be a bit more relaxed...  but... I have to share my inspiration for this months challenge over on the 123 SCRAPBOOKING CHALLENGE ON FACEBOOK which has just had a bit of a name change but still the challenge it was.. and this month it is..

  To use the one sketch as inspiration, the two words (either as part of your title, journalling or inspiration) and the three colors as the main colors.. other colors are allowed but the three are to be easily seen...
so my layout..

I have used an older photo of my family at Christmas time.. but this title would be perfect for the season of stay at home that we have experienced lately..

KRAFT+ July Challenge..

oh dear here we are in July.. what a year it has been so far.. who would have thunk how the first half of 2020 would be... I really hope the next half of the year is much better..

But onto the new month and new challenges to get us creating! This month over on KRAFT+ BLOG there is a really great challenge and it is......

 To be inspired by Shakespeare... or this fabulous mood board... use a quote, use the colors, use the images... so much to take from this months challenge.. you can check out the design team inspiration over on the KRAFT+ BLOG HERE!!!!!! and then pop your creation on the KRAFT+ COMMUNITY FACEBOOK PAGE HERE !!!!! 

well I was inspired to use a quote from the writings of Shakespeare..

lots of fussy cutting..  I was inspired by the quote "To thine own self be true" from Hamlet.. So this chipboard piece "Just be yourself " was perfect!!

 

Just be yourself.
