WHATS IN THE BICKIE TIN - Dec.

Hello there,
I trust you had a lovely Christmas Day.. I had a very quiet one here, which was good.. Just a few more days and we will have to put the new calendars up... and probably hang on to our hats in 2020!!

I have been pottering around and managed to create this layout for the December Challenge for
WHATS IN THE BICKIE TIN which is to use Green, ribbon and bling..

and my layout..

The bling is a Kaisercraft flourish which I cut in half to suit where I wanted to put it..

I have used green and used some satin ribbon which I created a bow with.. The daisy's are stickers that I have had for ages!!

123 CHALLENGE BLOG -December Challenge..

Hello there,
How is your day going? My word the days are flying by and soon we will be warming the Christmas pud and cutting up the ham...  a time for family and remembrance and gratitude for all the blessings that have been mine this year... and of course remembering the reason for the season which is the birth of my Saviour Jesus..

but first I must put up the challenge for the 123 CHALLENGE BLOG at the Show and Tell Facebook page which is one I really loved..  and it is..

 To use the sketch, the two words or be inspired by the words and the 3 colors as the main colors..

I used a photo of my 3 DD's for this layout..

KRAFT+ December Challenge..

Well Hello December... how did that happen???
With the new month comes the new scrapping Challenges and this month over at
KRAFT+ we have a wonderful sketch to help you get your mojo going in this busy time of the year.. and it is..

I was inspired by the colors and by Christmas, but you dont have use that on your creation if you choose.. I made some flowers with a die and cut some stars too..

I have used photos of my Grandie from last Christmas, she loved the shiny baubles and these photos are just so cute!!

MORE THAN WORDS - November challenge.

Hello there,
How are things with you? Going well I trust..
I am just popping up my layout that I created for this months challenge for MORE THAN WORDS
which is another fabulous one and it is....

 To be inspired by "success" and to use a key on your layout...

Well I thought about my DD who went for her Driving License and got it first time and I think that is a good example of success.. I was so proud of her, and now she is off doing lots of things for herself driving to work and visiting friends and going shopping.... which is just as it should be..

I had nearly finished my page and then I remembered to add some keys!!

WHATS IN THE BICKIE TIN? - Nov challenge.

Hello there! Here i am back again to share a layout I created for a new challenge called
WHATS IN THE BICKIE TIN and you can find it on their BLOG HERE and also on their
FACEBOOK HERE  . The November challenge is _
Include the color red..
Add a die cut
and have a torn edge or two..

As the weather here has been extremely hot I thought I would sit and do some scrapping and this is what I came up with..

And I cut a flourish with a die..

The most wonderful time of the year..

This is from last Christmas so I thought I had better scrap it before the next one comes around!!!

PAPERCRAFT SECRETS - Nov Challenge - Black and White.

Hello there,
How are you today?  I hope you are keeping well and are safe.. at the moment it feels like there is a new fire emergency somewhere in Australia, it is sooo very dry and the winds are making things so dangerous for fires..  I will be so glad to see rain falling on our land..

I did get into my scrap room and I created a layout for the challenge over at PAPERCRAFT SECRETS ON FACEBOOK which was to create something in black and white..
I thought I would use a black background for my layout..
The page came together nicely, I used a stamp from Kaisercraft and fussy cut the flowers. I used  lovely chipboard from Denise Boddey Designs that I got at the recent craft day in Toowoomba..

and some closer views..

I added some black liquid pearl dots to the centres of the flowers.

I also put some kaisercraft rhinestones in the centres of the flowers on the chipboard.

Love your smile..

The doileys on the back ground are Kaisercraft stickers that I have had for ages.. A few of the flowers were lifted up with cardboard.

NOVEMBER KRAFT+ - Floral Art Challenge.

Good Morning!! Welcome to November!! Oh my... this year sure is going fast......

But the good news is... new month brings new challenges for your inspiration!!
And this month at KRAFT+ the new challenge is one of my favs..  I think you might love it too.. and it is..

  To be inspired by these wonderful drawings of flowers..  sooo many possibilities...
I was inspired straight away by the top left picture of the beautiful gum leaves and flowers and this is what I created this month..

I have used some gum leaf dies that I have and used a brown ink pad to add some color, and a red ink pad on the tips of the gum flowers to add some color and just popped a few little red flowers around the leaves as well..

I have used a photo of my DD and our old horse who is no longer with us, in our back paddock where we have lots of lovely old gum trees..

MORE THAN WORDS : October - Costume and Black Background.

Hello there,
So lovely you have come by.. I hope your day has been a good one..  It has been a hot day here for me.. We did have some beautiful rain last weekend, so perhaps we will get some more soon!!

I was inspired by this months challenge over at MORE THAN WORDS to create using this criteria..

 Well I do not do spooky, but I found a photo of my DD and my GD who had dressed up for their playgroup and I just had to scrap this moment!!

I havent done a messy back ground in sooo long so I got some paper strips and some old paper die cuts and other stuff that was sitting on my desk and stuck them on my back ground.. all sorts of things I used!! there was no reason, other then to add some texture.. then I sprayed with yellow mist, and I added some stencilling.. and I even took a photo before I covered it up with my photo!!

Then I got my photo and put layers under that and I cut lots of stars in black and gold..

and my super heroes!!

I had lots of fun creating this page.. I had no idea how it would end up.. and I am happy with the end result!!

123 CHALLENGE BLOG October Reveal & KAISERCRAFT OCT SKETCH #9

Hello there,
How is your day going? Well I hope.. At the moment it feels like Summer is knocking on the door and not giving us some Spring.. so good weather to stay indoors and create..

My first share is the challenge for the 123 CHALLENGE BLOG which is another fabulous one..

 to use the three colors, (you can use other colors but these 3 need to be seen mostly) use the words or be inspired by them, and use the sketch..
When I printed off the challenge my teal came out a little differently (oops!!) but thats ok..

I loved the banner on the sketch..

I have used some rub-on alphas for my words.. and this Kaisercraft range suited the colors.

Have Strength.

My daughter inspires me with her strength, so I had to use a photo of her.. You can add your layout over on the 123 CHALLENGE BLOG FACEBOOK PAGE  .

I would also like to share a layout I have created for the Sketch Challenge for Kaisercraft which looks like..


 I have rotated the sketch once anti-clockwise to suit the photo I have used.. I have used the Rosabella paper range, a Kaisercraft stencil, and the Kaisercraft vine die for some leaves..

Some fussy cutting of flowers, and I added a little button to the string on the tags..

Some liquid pearl drops in black for the center of the flowers, with some glitter glue to add some sparkle!!

Beautiful..

I love this photo of my youngest in the afternoon sunshine..  so happy to scrap it with this sketch..
