SCRAP THE GIRLS March - Selfie!

Hello there, I hope your day is going splendidly!! It is a warm Sunday arvo here, time to put a post up before this month flies on by!!!

This month over at SCRAP THE GIRLS it is a really on trend one and it is....
A selfie photo!! Well somehow I just cant get the hang of this selfie stuff, but my daughters are pro at it.. So I chose a photo of my DD and had a lot of fun creating the back ground.. it was so therapeutic!

And yep another photo "borrowed" from Facebook!! Perhaps one day this old girl will master the art of Selfies, until then I have lots of photos of my DD's I can use!!!

100% BOY - SCRAPBOOKIT..

Good Morning! Here we are back at Monday! I trust your weekend was a good one, and the week ahead will be too!!

I have created a layout for this months challenge over at SCRAPBOOKIT which is all about the boys!!!
We are also to use some metallic bits,  some raw products (string Hemp cardboard) and a rustic element..

I have used a cousin's son for my photo for this challenge, he is so photogenic!!

I have used hessian, a metal key I have inked to look old (rustic) corrugated cardboard and string..

The little space ship is a metal brad I have had in my stash for years!!

I have used really old papers and embellies on this layout, so glad to have them on a page ! Such a cute boy too!

CSI: Color, Stories, Inspiration case file #226.. and some news!!!

Hello there,  Can you believe we are half way through this month already??? Just crazy!!!

So that means the next challenge for CSI: Color, Stories, Inspiration #226 has gone up over at the blog!! and it is..
and it is due 31st of March... Use the colors, use at least 3 Evidence.., and at least 1 Testimony..

I have used all the colors, for the Evidence I have used polka dots, string, hearts, transparent stuff ( old prima flower backing) and enamel dots.. For the Testimony I have wrote about something that makes me happy!! and we all know what that is.....  walking along the beach of course!!!

CSI. Color, Stories, Inspiration #225

Hello there on this fine day! I hope your monday is going well.. The weekends just fly by and the week begins .. again...

This month over at CSI COLOR, STORIES, INSPIRATION #225  , SCRAPMATTS are a sponsor, so the Design Team were invited to be guest Detectives!! The challenge runs until the 31st March and you can link your entry up over on the BLOG!!

Captured Moment..

Such fun being a guest Detective!! I cracked the case using photos of my youngest and journalling about life being a huge adventure.. I used stitching, circles and feathers, and I used the word dream in my journaling.. ARCHISCRAPS & KRAFT+ MARCH..

And a pinch and a punch for another new month...  yep.. just like that!!!

The new challenge for ARCHISCRAPS is to use....


 


 MOSAICS... on your creations somewhere...
I choose to try to create a back ground using a mosaic pattern, a bit harder than I thought!!  Little squares stuck on the back ground... how hard could it be!!!?? Well it was tricky!!!

so anyway it looks ok in real life!! hehe!! Maybe you would like to try doing a mosaic on something and you can pop it in the challenge... HERE!!!!

And the March challenge for KRAFT+ is another amazing one... (do I say that each month!!?? I feel so lucky to be on the Design Team and see what  challenges are coming up... ) And it is...

To use some DENIM on your creation... and of course it must be created on Kraft...  Do yourself a favour  AND POP OVER AND CHECK OUT ALL THE INSPIRATION ON THE BLOG!!!

 And what did I create? Well i might be showing my age, but my first thought was Denim and Lace.. A song from 1984!!! Sang by Marty Rhone...... so I had to use some lace... and some denim... and I choose a photo of my Hubby and our youngest so I could have a masculine and feminine influence on my layout...
